    lol, i expect it will be even worse this year. if you think about it September 2011 the 3DS was a failure and doomed, now its handheld gamings messiah

    i really have to plan my day down to a tee with maybe 5 minutes every time i will be queuing for a game

    Apologies for being incredibly lazy, but apart from Pullblox, are there any other 'must-have' games on the 3DS shop thing?

    There probably aren't any other 'must-haves' to be honest, but there are still some great games available on there. It's probably worth watching a few videos and making your mind up. I've only regretted a single purchase from that shop. A game in which the title couldn't have warned me any clearer. Fun! Fun! Minigolf TOUCH! It's not fun. It's just not fun.

    I recommend you check out what's there though. Dillon's Rolling Western, VVVVVV, Zen Pinball, Art of Balance TOUCH!, and the 3D Classics versions of Xevious, Twinbee, Kirby and Kid Icarus are all great games. I've managed to rack up nearly 60 hours on Zen Pinball, having not touched a pinball game since Dragon's Fury on the Mega Drive, so that's worthy of mention. Dillon's Rolling Western is the first Tower Defence game i've ever enjoyed, simply because it's more involving that all the others. Twinbee might be old, but it's one of my favourite of the genre and is my favourite 3D Classics game.

    zen pinball is alot of fun, vvvvv as mentioned perviously. It isnt a must have but i found mighty switch force fun just a little bit short.

    Been playing my 3dsxl more and more recently. Its a joy to hold compared to the older model. Been playing the new mario game which is great but there is no point of having lives in that game. I also bought new art academy and its awesome. It has a ton of new tools to use and the lessons are great. Its also only about £20 in shops and online

    I've been playing a bit more Bit Trip Saga using the Kid Icarus stand, and I've felt I can leave the 3D on now. I'm feeling more comfortable with the stylus control now - while the easier controls might make completing the first level of Beat less rewarding, the second level is still a challenge and of course it still works as a score-attack game. Runner works fine with the 3DS controls, as do Core and Flux, and overall I'd say it's a very good package and well worth the sort of money you can get it for these days.

    Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

    Apparently TWEWY countdown site isn't just for the iOS version and remixed soundtrack so we might still have a chance of another game. Maybe. We'll see. ;)

    I have my fingers crossed for twewy 2 I really enjoyed the first game once i got used the two screen fights have no idea how they will replicate that on ios

    Maybe they'll only use the auto battle for the other character? Not sure.

    I wonder if the other announcement might be a 3DS updated version of the original since SE do quite like porting/updating their games. Would be nice to have a (good) sequel though!

    I hope it isn't just an updated version because of the 3ds's backwards compatability seems a bit pointless have a second copy of the same game but I guess if they add enough extra content and have it as a £20 release I could be tempted

    Nah, a 3DS version isn't what I want to hear but another port would be a fairly SE thing to do. ;) It'll probably turn out that the other announcement is that they're porting it to Android as well, haha.

    Ace Attorney 5 has been announced in Famitsu this week
    Phoenix Wright is the main character. Wright has a new partner, a mysterious girl in yellow clothing. This girl will be a central figure in the game.
    Also the Pheonix Wright vs Prof. Layton game will be released on November 29th in Japan

    I've got myself a 3DS XL recently, just waiting for it to arrive, and was wondering what good 3DS games that are out currently (or coming out soon) that any of you could recommend? Thanks :)

    Add Pullblox/Pushmo (eShop) to that list as well if you like brainbending puzzles. Got it yesterday - it's awesome! :)

    And then most likely you'll want Picross E as well - coming this Thursday.

    Right, well I just got Kid Icarus, Tom Clancy's Shadow Wars, 2 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games (1 for me and the other for my mom, I think she'd like it) and a dvd for 65 US$ Including shipping, which I think was a very good deal as if I got them all separately together it would've costed me 67.86$ NOT including shipping, so I saved about 12$ give or take, and my 3DS XL should hopefully arrive tomorrow! Very excited.
