Well perhaps. It could work, though I tend to think that any handheald device needs to allow the user to be fairly 'contailed within themselves' (think the whole blow-into-the-mic thing and why everyone hates it).
If you constantly look like Harry Potter attempting to abracadabra his DS while on the London Underground, that could make you a litte self conscious.

"Our focus on 3D right now is on the console," he said. "There's a tremendous amount of opportunity on PlayStation 3 with 3D. The amount of interest in 3D from the retail side and game publishers is off the charts. We know we have a hit with 3D on PS3 and we're going to concentrate our efforts there."
Koller also questioned today's announcement of the Nintendo 3DS, saying he wasn't sure if there is a market for 3D handheld gaming with a younger audience.
"I think it remains to be seen where Nintendo goes with 3D on a portable," he added. "Having been in the portable space for quite awhile, I think it's an interesting move but one I'd like to see where they go from a demographic standpoint. 8 and 9 year olds playing 3D is a little bit of a stretch given where some of our research is right now."

Registered 9 years agoI would expect it to be quite a bit more powerful than the PSP, but it probably won't be able to match the inevitable PSP2.
Btw, why all the fuss about a 'finished' Wind Waker? The game was finished and released seven years ago. It's not exactly the only game ever to have content cut out at the last minute. -

Registered 8 years agoIf people are expecting Jaws 19 style effects or even any kind of solid-looking objects from it then they're going to be sorely disappointed. Think more along the lines of cardboard cutouts placed at slightly different depths within the screen.if you have nothing intresting to say then you might as well just throw your bags on the truck and drive away
