More information. Spoilers in the fifth (51-52 p.) image, and co-op characters unveiled in the second one (57-58 p.), so beware.

The co-op characters sound like the cutest thing ever.

From the third image: Turret - Thermally discouraged. :)

If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

Photobucket doesn't seem to want to display the images in that link, so here's another link nicked from the front page comments.

Again spoiler warning for those not wanting their cake spoiled, reguarding the first bit of the plot, new types of puzzle and co-op.

"Excursion tunnels are part of an investigation into how well test subjects can solve problems while travelling through a churning tunnel of liquid asbestos. Results so far have been highly informative... They cannot."

If you scroll down, you'll see imageshack links. Those still work. They're in reverse order, but they're larger than Photobucket ones were.

Personally, I'm worried about laser puzzles. I'm tired of seeing those in games. Time will tell if Valve manages to breathe new life into an old mechanic, though.

I might forget though as I'll be so busy playing Portal 2.

Fantastic PR Valve, I'm genuinely interested. Not genius, but certainly very clever.

    PS3 Portal 2 in 3D most probably.

Looking inside those portals with actual depth will be an experience worth seeking out.

Yeah, so would the cash for a 3DTV and all the other gubbins to go with it. Would be nice but I certainly won't be able to afford it and I suspect most others won't either.

Even if I had the money I wouldn't pay it.
  • Deleted user 15 June 2010 22:35:11
I assumed the Sony 3D worked with specs. Why are they making such a fuss over it if you need a 3DTV? About 4 people are going to be able to use it.

So wait, was the whole Portal 2 announcement cancellation just because Sony threw some cash at Valve to get them to speak at their conference first? Is there more to come?

I'm confused and excited. And itchy.
  • Deleted user 15 June 2010 22:37:05
First no. They weren't supposed to be with Sony, the game was 360 and PC. So surprise! I see that all the effort was lost on you :(

Nice coup for Sony, can't even begin to imagine the shit Gabe's going to take over the next few days. :-D

Because the industry's pushing it. If they keep talking about it, and telling us it's amazing and that we need it, we'll buy it. Maybe not this year, maybe not the next, but it'll happen.

So PS3 gets auto updates and free DLC like the PC where 360 players will be stuck paying for it and waiting ages for patches :/

Everybody has secrets, life would be boring without secrets, don't you think...?
