So I guess we are a month or so away from this potentially being announced? Where do we beg for a Scottish date? After all we are home to some pretty big developers! Edinburgh will do nicely, thanks!

Well I for one will echo that begging for a Scottish date (Edinburgh!), which would mean 100% of people on EG (in this thread) have showed an interest in it.

Another one who would love an Edinburgh date to be added. I'll suggest the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (which is where they do the Game On thing during the festival) as the venue as it's a 2 minute walk from my work!

See, 100% of the people, EG!

I'd go to Edinburgh too as long as you're allowed in drunk.

One in the capital of England (incorporating Wales and N.Ireland ;] ) and one in the Capital of Scotland seems fair!

Another good reason for the Edinburgh venue is that I will hold Roos to one promised pint from the Dads Club thread!

Insert generic local city in UK here - Edinburgh

Done, as requested. Local to me, anyway.

We need one in Hull, or grimsby, or castleford. Those places need some serious lightening up ;)

Large amounts of explosives would be much better ways to lighten them up ;)

TBH, I think Aberdeen is the most logical and sensible place to hold it. Eh, you know, cause it just is... :]

I've heard there are good transport links to this "London" place, even from remoter parts of the country. Alternatively, don your flatcaps, wrap binliners around your blistered feet, and march south!

WHAT! 100% (6 posts in and 2 were me, but ignore that little fact) wanted Edinburgh. To be honest, I'd be happy with vaguely North. A bit North. I'd even accept the middle of England. Or anywhere that isn't London, with it's fancy people and high prices and monarchic residence. I don't think monarchic is a word.

Seriously, it's a tad disappointing but I understand the technical reasons why focusing on one event makes more sense.

    I won't walk 500 miles,
    and I won't walk 500 more,
just to be the man who walked 1000 miles to get to the Expo!

(I'm actually nearer 500 miles away so 1000 would be there and back, but the song doesn't fit that way).
