Good and frantic fun last night. More than happy to have another bash, diff map tonight ? or if not will continue with the ace Witcher.
Muttler was a chick though, so will need to be Baird LE next time, just in case we do get a LZ (who needs that cheveo ?)
oh and vortex, those corpsers seem to have some sort of shielding attatched to the lower part of the body ? just in case you ever come up against one again

Registered 4 years agoI think that with Seriously I'll knock out most of the horde/beast onyx medals naturally and the campaign ones will get mostly done over the next few years. That's right, I figure I'll still be playing this until the next one comes out - at least on and off - so with a bit of luck (and grinding) the matches/weapons will be a slow crawl. Who doesn't want to get 2kGS? -

Just did 20 waves with randoms (3 of us in the end) and guess what, not 1 (one!) corpser

The only onyx medals I dread going for are the arcade ones. Having to do the force multiplyer and chapters without an air gun is going to be fucking frustrating! -

Registered 6 years agoI did the campaign on Insane, but not in arcade mode, and I haven't done Beast in Insane without dying to unlock the character.

Registered 6 years agoOh for the love of... my f'ing profile has been reset. It's all gone, well almost all. Back to the entire start now *sigh*
Game crashed when trying to join a "quick" match, as it is want to do occasionally for me. Only way out is to turn the 360 off, which I did. Go back in, and find my level is back to 1...
Never thought it would happen to me, but it did. No backup of my save, I thought I did have one on my brother's memory card, but no.
Well, that's me out for now then... whether I can be bothered to play a lot more Gears 3, I don't know yet...Lie with passion and be forever damned...

It's probably been known about for months, but while hoarding this past weekend I discovered a quick and easy way to kill Serapedes. Shoot in the face until they stop moving and they rear up, then shoot the exposed 'neck' for an instant kill. Plus hiding on the beams in Drydock was a pretty good tactic to avoid all the tickers, corpsers, serapedes and berserkers. Just the bloodmounts and wretches to worry about. Surprisingly the Reavers were the easiest to kill of anything.
