    Tanks do rock. The current gen of consoles is seriously lacking a tank sim.

    Looks like this one won't be just a sim http://worldoftanks.com/game/ Sim+action+rpg+strategy.

    Hope the game will have a proper balance of all this genres.

    I watched the trailer till the end, and I think it will be about tanks (maybe with Orks driving them)))). It would be nice if they made it with real tanks and playing could be with real people. Quite interesting.

    Yeah, it was just a general reflection on the amount of Orcs/Elves/Loin cloths cluttering up gaming.

    We will definitely introduce JagdTiger in our German tank tree just after the release or during the open beta version development. We simply can't ignore such a glorious fighting vehicle. We have 3 tank trees in our collection at the moment and we are working on adding more nations like England, France and many others. So this is indeed a very immense load of work, so we can't include all the tanks at once. But let me assure you that the most well-known models and prototypes will be added into game gradually.

    World of Tanks is the free2play team-based MMO action featuring tanks, anti-tanks and self propelled artillery vehicles. The game embraces the fighting vehicles' models of 20s-50s of the twentieth century - the most interesting era in the history of tank building. The players command the tank models which characteristics correspond to the characteristics of their real prototypes. One fighting vehicle on a map refers to one player. The standard mode assumes the battle between two teams up to 30 players in each.

    Nice to see the devs here. I read yr interview at massively.com Is there any chance to see British troops in the release version - like you said we gonna get them in long-time perspective only. And any news on the closed beta?

    American, USSR and German panzers will be available in the release version. The UK is the next nation that will be added into World of Tanks after the release. The British tank tree will include such glorious fighting vehicles as Matilda, Valentine, Churchill, Centurion, Cromwell and many others.

    CBT for European and American players will be launched soon. We are not ready to reveal the exact date yet.
