Hmmm, dilemma on where to see this. I usually lean towards Everyman for things I really don't want ruined by chavs, but the AV awesomeness of the IMAX is temping. And then there's the option of opening night Leicester Sq which has a unique atmosphere.

I'm waiting till its out on the Occulost Riffs. A movie like this needs to be beamed directly into the brain.

I've been stung before - went to see TDKR at 2.30am at the Waterloo IMAX.

3 hours of my life I won't ever get back.

    They're phasers are indeed charged...

Anyway I thought booking nearly 2 months in advance was a little OTT...just checked the BFI site and the decent seats are already taken for this! O_o

    Come and get it cumslingers!

I did a 'Phantom Menace'. I'd built myaself up for it so much that I convinced myself it was really good and I never like anything first time round anyway and it certainly was brilliant and amazing and the plot holes weren't that bad and it needed all that extra filler and I liked the idea of Bruce going to Afghanistan and so on and so on.

    But it was shit.

LB, you really are a massive geek.

No IMAX in Denmark, which is a shame. But it'll be shown on a huge screen and I'll try and get there for the premiere.

I was thinking about going IMAX for this having pre-booked IM3 and ST2 but thinking about it I probably should have not bothered with IM3 since it doesn't have IMAX footage and I think that's also true of MoS.

Good. I see that they are also showing Man of Steel in 2D IMAX as well.

Anyhow, here's Man Of Steel score samples.

Anyhow here's something else from the JoBlo website

Complete track listing and sample from Hans Zimmers score

There's also a picture of the rather spiffing box art for the score as well.

Needless to say, the track listing contains minor spoilers. SPOILERS! SPOILERS! Don't say I didn't warn you.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

This is going to sound horribly superficial but Henry Cavill isn't dishy enough to be Superman in my opinion. Sure Christopher Reeve couldn't really be topped but is this the best they could come up with?

    /disappointed

Madness, the guy is a great looking Superman! Model looks and for an actor he is (gym) huge, ripped to bits.

You would be hard pushed to find a better mix.

God, I hope this turns out to be good!

... Superman Returns was sssoooooo disappointing.

Is the baddie the guy who is in Take Shelter? He was immense in that film.

I am absolutely stunned. They seem to have managed to make another origin story but actually have superman being super.

Its a pretty far cry from the lamenting study of the human condition that limped out initially, thats for sure.

It virtually tells you the entire story in two minutes.
