Half the results are still non-forumey. Besides, they've already categorised all of the MS bias articles into one easy URL. :p

Does the LG G2 have a micro SD card slot? Some reviews are saying it doesn't others are saying it does.

    :S

    Come and get it cumslingers!

@mcmonkeyplc I'm fairly sure it doesn't, but I don't have one, so that may not be much help.

It doesn't just the Korean version does. That's fairly retarded from LG.

Just got Android 4.4.2 update for my N5 - camera is much improved - not sure what else has changed.

Btw has anyone, on KitKat, tried using ART? It's a process, from what I understand, that rather than front loading apps, when you click on them, the system sees "them" as being embedded - therefore load quicker and less battery drain.

As a complete no tech type, that's as good an explanation I can give ;)

    Where's my update?! :(

I'll try ART at some point, just heard that not all apps work for it.

I'm starting to get some nasty slow down on my S3, it would always do it quite infrequently but it seems pretty regular now and worse. Any ideas?

Mine is appalling. Genuinely terrible, it takes two or three seconds to do mundane little things like open a contact and god knows how long to do anything complicated.

I keep meaning to wipe the fucking thing because its almost unusable now.

What's good in the world of android handset wise early in 2014? My contract on my HTC One S is due up soon. I would like a HTC one and I know a revision is imminent. Is it still the best android handset going?

I can't be doing with the Galaxy, my missus has one and I know I would break the little plastic bugger in about five minutes. She has also taken it back to the shop twice with software faults.

Possibly, now it just reset itself... I've had it over a year so guess warranty probably isn't an issue anymore, maybe I should look into putting stock on it. I don't think I've ever used the Samsung stuff like Pip etc anyway.

Yeah, root it as fast as you can and stick SuperNexus on it. Just been looking and it seems there is a 4.4.2 update out for most phones. I'm still running 4.2.2, mainly for stability but KitKat allows saving of music via Google Play to the SD card, which appeals.

Moto G for the cheapo option, Moto X or Nexus 5 for more expensive. Although they are all plastic casing too IIRC.

Hmm, that's an issue for me. I love the ceramic style case on my One S, it really makes the phone feel like it's well built, something you don't get with a lot of android handsets compared to iPhones. I guess I've answered my own question, I'll wait for the new HTC One in march.

Really impressed with Sony recently, my Xperia Z is just so lovely and a couple of weeks ago it was officially updated to 4.3 (4.4 is due 'soon'). They added loads of features from the Z1 software also.

I normally get bored with my phones after just a couple of months, but really can't fault this one. So anyone pondering I do recommend any of the Xperia Z family, tried the Z1 and it's basically identical to the Z since my software update. Standard practice would be to just say get a Nexus and be done with it, but really can't see a negative of the recent Sonys.

As I understand it the 2014 Z family is due to be announced in a few weeks.

Well I tried to root it but just like last time I tried with my previous phone it's too janky and too much faff for me. Maybe I'll try again when I get annoyed enough with it.

I threw a mental at lunch, watching the battery tick down and die as I needed it, so I thought 'fuck it', rooted it and banged cyanogenmod on there.

Hats off, that cyanogen mod installer is super user friendly.
