    Ah good work Razz.

Does anyone know of any android apps that tell you how much space all your directories are taking up?

Run out of space on my phone internal sd and no idea why, apart from spotify.

Can't you just check that in settings - applications - manage applications?
    Then sort by size

Grrrr. So todays problem, i discovered that my space was all being taken up by 2gb of thumbnail files (in 2 files!!) which i deleted, and greader caches which were up to 3gb! i deleted and uninstalled greader, however there are two random files in the cache directory that seem to be corrupted, so i can't remove the greader directory.

I've tried andro file explorer and fs file explorer and connecting my phone to my pc, but totally unable to delete the directory.

    anyone seen this before?

In my experience the only way to delete corrputed data like that is to reflash mate,

That Droid X360 looks like something I'd be interested in, kind find anyone selling it over here though, nothing on eBay :/

Hovering over a nexus 7 but can't justify an extra 2inches bigger than my phone, and especially when there is no 3g.

an extra 2 inches can actually go a long way.

i'm holding out for the ipad mini at christmas. i think i would swap my full ipad for a mini one. the Google tablet app market is pretty lame IMO. even things like zinio are much nicer on the ipad than they are on android from what i can tell.

    I've got 3.5", 4", 7", 9.7" devices, each serve a different purpose (I keep telling myself)

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

I too am wondering about the size issue. Really tempted by the S3, and as lovely as the screen is, it seems just a tad too big for everyday phone use with my small hands.

The HTC One S with its 4.3 screen would be perfect, but it's only 16GB with no expandable memory.

I have no idea if this place is trustworthy but I suspect that's the kind of risk you take when buying dodgy knock-offs :)

    Hi,

I happen to own an HTC Wildfire S A510e, which runs Android 2.3.5, Sense version 2.1 and kernel version 2.6.35.10-g696f19b. I've trawled the interwebs and cannot seem to find a foolproof way/guide of installing the stock, unedited and untampered version of Gingerbread (version 2.3.7).

Could anyone be of assistance? It would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Check if you can use the Rom Manager method on it. If you can, I think the Rom Manager app is pretty much foolproof, and incredibly easy to do as well. You do have to pay for the app though, although no more than a coffee will cost you these days.

The new Note is being announced this month, the poster has the 29th on it, so presumably then. Also the Note tablet is finally making it to market.
Talking of the Note series, this guy has been using one for sketching some decent stuff.

Girlfriend is thinking of changing contracts soon and one of the options comes with either a free Samsung Galaxy Ace or HTC Desire C. Are either of these any good (if so which is better?) or would she be better off ponying up some of her own cash for something else? She's coming from an old Nokia and this'll be her first smart phone.

Cheers in advance for the help.
