Should I put a Wiispeak number down too?

Got my copy and now back home. I've updated the list with usernames and MH3 codes.

If, I've missed anyone, or you want something adding, just pm me. I'm going to have a go now. I'm going to do a bit of solo questing this evening. Tomorrow, I'll be up for some multiplayer.

Well, unless we're online at the time, it won't work. I'm heading on in about 5-10 min if you want to try again.

How do you add people? How do you find out your own code? How do you make it all work? I don't understand it all! Too early on a Sunday for this...

Your code is shown when you select your online profile, or if you go to online options and set your ID as your display name.

Send a friend request along with a message. If you receive a request remember to return it, otherwise they won't show up on your list.

How is Wii Speak working out for you lads so far?

I only got the CCPro edition of the game but may pick up a speak if it is necessary.

Looking forward to it. Loving it so far!

Did you actually get confirmation that those requests were sent? For me it just says they're currently offline and cancels it.

Has anyone received my friend requests?

    EDIT:

Should we arrange a time for us all to be on? I assume we don't have to be in the same server to get an friend-request message.

I'll be online soon, and therefore add-able. Just doing an offline quest at the moment.

OK, so I didn't follow my own suggestion, and created my character with a different name.
    Nailen - ZKXA82

I was thinking I'd complete the 1* village quests before going online so might be about at the weekend...
Or are people just jumping online straight away?

Not as nice as I used to be

I'll be doing the 1* Quests first myself. Get used to the new controls and things first so I don't become "The Great Armoured Liability" in battle. System does seem a bit archaic, but functional.

I'm going to go online for an hour. Anyone else fancy joining me/swapping friends' codes?

BTW still on lv 1* - 2* quests at the moment.

I didn't even start the offline quests before hopping online. There are loads of Monster Hunter newcomers on there (myself included), so you're in good company.

@Luckyjim: might join you in a bit

    @Cid

Good game Cid. I sure showed my MH skills in that one - accidentally using the trap. D'oh.

We should maybe set up a regular EG night as well - like the MArio Kart Smash Bros ones. At least that way we can fill our Friends' lists up.
  • Deleted user 26 April 2010 14:09:01
I've not done any capture quests yet, so I wasn't too confident there.

Also, I accidentally started cooking some meat in the middle of the fight. :D

I find capturing hard as I'm pretty poor at judging when they're weak. Oh well, you live and learn.

I noticed with Jaggies that they do a characteristic fall and then you need just one more hit to kill them. Maybe it's the same with other monsters...

Not as nice as I used to be
