Is it Friends Codes....? I really ought to get a classic controller for this too, right? (or will a Cube pad do?) -

Registered 6 years agoIt uses it's own shortened friend code but you can also use your nickname - all will become apparent once you get online.
If the cube pad works, and I can't see why it shouldn't, it'd be perfect for MH. I do recommend the CCPro, though. Terrific pad.
We use this thread for friends' codes but use the other thread for organising online games and general MH discussions. A lot of us will be on on Monday. If you go on, just post in the other thread - we won't know if you're on otherwise. Once friends' codes have been exchanged, MH is pretty painless online. -

I guess it's useful to know what names EGers are using online. But we don't really need the ID numbers, and the main MH3 thread does the trick.

The main MH3 thread is one of many created by ecosse that was nuked when he got banned.

Registered 4 years agoI also pop on every now and again to keep my (amateurish at best) skills up, the online community is still pretty friendly, and it's at least 80 hours of game even without online.
But yeah, haven't seen anyone bar Cid online in a long time. -

Registered 6 years agoI'd love to join in again but no longer have a Wii. Happy days playing with fellow EGers. MH3 is one of my games of this gen. Put so many hours in, which somewhat made me sell it.
By the way, wiispeak's pretty much useless. I found a USB keyboard to be the best method of communication.
Why did ecosse get banned in the end? -

My hunter code is on the first page, name is fillip. Add me in if you're still playing; we're usually on Monday and Wednesday nights at 9.
We usually use the 360 party thing for voice comms but I've got a keyboard plugged in as well. -
