Now we have our first proper, non Rumble match.

    30-Man Royal Rumble Match
    (Participants to be announced)

    WWE Championship
    Sheamus (c) vs Randy Orton

We know that the Undertaker will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against either Batista or Rey Mysterio or both and that Christian will defend the ECW Championship against the winner of the ECW Homecoming tournament battle royal. (Participants are Kane, Ezekiel Jackson, Yoshi Tatsu, Vance Archer, Matt Hardy, Evan Bourne, Shelton Benjamin and CM Punk)

That sounds pretty good! Guess Sheamus was serious when he said Cena won't get another shot.

Does this mean my homie Cena is winning the Rumble? Why would you even doubt?!

I would like somebody who isn't Cena, HHH or Kofi Kingston to win please.

Orton vs Sheamus should be interesting just for highlighting the extreme difference in skin tones white people are capable of.

Apparently Booker T is returning at the Rumble?

And what did CM Punk do to get shoved down to ECW?

Randy vs Sheamus will become a triple threat or 4 way. No way it'll be heel vs heel.

Nothing, it was an invitational for ex-ECW guys to take on the current roster. He's still on Smackdown, same as Kane, Matt Hardy and co.

Speaking of which, we have our third match:

    ECW Championship
    Christian (c) vs Ezekiel Jackson

is Christian being buttfucked for going to TNA? if thats the case, whats the point in having him back? it's about time he got a proper run at a proper belt, and if that aint happening at WWE he should do one again. Christian was always the better out of him and Edge. Criminal!

I feel that the winner of the Rumble should always main event Wrestlemania.

The more they toy with that notion (and I know they have before), the less important the rumble is, because people will assume the winner won't necessarily get their shot.

The whole notion has meant fuck-all to me ever since Stone Cold won the Rumble in '97 and didn't get to headline Wrestlemania.

As a young Stone Cold fan at the time, that moment when he eliminated Bret Hart was probably my biggest mark out moment ever :D

    Another match added:

    WWE World Heavyweight Championship
The Undertaker (c) vs Rey Mysterio

Hopefully Rey Mysterio will win that one, although it would be somewhat odd for him to be the Heavyweight Champion.

I buy it (I bought it last time he won the title, too).

But I wouldn't find it believable if he has a long run. It's something he could win on a given night, but not something he should be able to hold onto.

I don't know what the story is at Smackdown at the moment, but I guess it'd be cool for Rey to win the belt, and then for Batista to annihilate him at WrestleMania.

Frankly I don't buy anyone beating the Undertaker.

I don't think anyone stops looking like the Undertaker.

    Unless they age backwards. :)

He's got one of the best win-loss records in WWE right now and is in the midst of a strong, lengthy title reign...

Randy/Sheamus should be very interesting. It's the two baddest men in WWE right now going at it. It'll be great for development of the Orton/Legacy relationship and for perhaps turning Orton into an anti-hero with time.

    Who'll win between Orton/Sheamus?

I'm thinking Orton. They can't be having Sheamus going into Mania as champ :p There's no shame in losing to Orton, and a lot of cred for beating Sheamus at the moment, so will hurt neither of them.

But then I don't want Cena/Orton at Mania. Hmm.

I don't see why not. It's not like the world championship matches are the focal point of Mania anyway.

I see numerous weeks of Orton getting his ass kicked by Sheamus, crying out for assistance from Legacy in getting beaten but to no avail regardless of what the eventual outcome is. Dissent is inevitable.

Also I'm really rooting for Ezekiel to win the ECW Championship. I really like him for some intangible reason.

Christian is obviously good at what he does and I think he can believably beat most guys, but I think my problem with him is so much of what he does, on the mic and in the ring is completely ineffectual. Most notably that rubbish pendulum kick off the ropes!

I could buy Triple H, HBK, Randy Orton, Batista and that's about it.

    Cena?
