Only two games with 1000, Oblivion and Tomb Raider: Legend. Don't really play to get achievements, and anything that has stupid online ones can go get fooked.

The godlike thingy is easy you just need a specific item, the batman ones took ages, shock and awe extreme is a serious pain in the arse.

    Batman Arkham Asylum

    And

    Puzzle Quest (200g)

Seriously though, kudos. I'm terrible at the fighting in Batman and can't forge a Godlike item in PQ. :)

I took me ages to get that one. I kept trying to do it by working from the bottom, then I had a brainstorm that working from the top might be better. First try with that method netted me one :)

Think I've about 1 acrade and 6 or 7 retail at max points. Mass Effect was one I was very pleased to get 1000G on and is one of the few games where it's actually in your interests to get the all the achievements you can for the in-game bonuses.

I never bother even reading multiplayer achievements a lot of the time, since most of them are arbitrarily tacked on with no good thought or reason. Chronicles of Riddick, I'm looking at you.

While it's nice for the collector instinct in me, I don't give a rats arse about my actual gamerscore nor do I deliberately go out of my way to get them.

I've got 3, well 2. One is an arcade game.

    Lego Batman
    Skate 2 (1500g)
    Gunstar Heroes (200g)

I need 1 more to get the full 1000 in the original Skate but its the oen where you have to get 20 votes on a video or a picture. I also don't own it any more. :(

    I've got:

    Retail
    Bully
    King Kong
    Harry Potter: OOTP
Harry Potter: HBP (both the wife's 1000G!)
Fable 2 (original game, Knothole Island)
    Fallout 3 (inc all DLC)
    Assassins Creed 2

    Arcade
    Fable 2 Pub Games
    Dash of Destruction
    Banjo-Kazooie

And I'm 3 off on ODST, and 1 off on Battlefield 1943 (sodding 100 matches having to be fresh lobbies).

I never paid any attention to this until the dashboard update made it so obvious.

    Anyway, mine are:
    Mass Effect
    Civ Rev
    Defense Grid (Arcade)

I'm one off for Oblivion, but I can't be bothered re-installing it.

I have 9 complete on my current gamertag:

    Oblivion (1250)
    Call of Duty 2 (1000)
    Sega Megadrive Collection (1000)
    King Kong (1000)
    Lego Indiana Jones (1000)
    Gunstar Heroes (200)
    Secret of Monkey Island (200)
    Dash of Destruction (200)
    Carcasonne (200)

I have the 1000 disc achievement points on Call of Duty World at War but did not download the add on pack so it is listed as 1000/1250.

And I did get 1000 on Viva Pinata but that was on a different gamertag.

I do have the gnome achievement in Half Life 2: Orange Box the OP mentioned and it is worth 30G. The "Neighbourhood Watch" achievement on that game is a prouder one though. But my all time favourite is probably "Gameover" on Geometry Wars 2. Sadly not good enough to get "Smile".

Me too, and yet I achieved all that. It's not impressive by any means, it just shows how much I have to put into what games I have. Like my 100% completion record in the Zelda games.

I only have two at max - and they're both Arcade titles:

Outrun Online and The Secret of Monkey Island.

Call of Duty 4 is probably my proudest 1000 pointer. I intend to never play that fucking epilogue ever again.

I've got 1000G's on a couple of games, most recently I got up to 995G on Assassins Creed 2, only to find out the remaining 5G are for kicking guards while using the flying machine.

And since the wise people at Ubisoft decided to takeout replaying of missions, the only way I can get it is by replaying the entire story through again or buying the DLC. Bastards.

Are you sure? Load up your finished game, press Start, go to DNA and scroll through until you find the right chapter. Best best would be to look into GameFAQs to see the chapter title and then load up the correct one for more flying goodness.

I have about 25 1ks. FIFA 08 is the only one I'm really proud of, there are only about 100 people in the world who have it. Most of the rest are shameless whoring. The Animal and Lord Of The Strings achievements from Rock Band were quite special.

You indeed need to play the whole game again, but Ubisoft are patching it for the DLC (due to sequences 12 and 13 being DLC and therefore unplayable if you've finished the game).
