200/200G on Fez. Some of the puzzles were seriously tricky.

1000/1000 for NFS: Undercover. Reviewed terribly but I enjoyed it considerably. Go figure?

I can't ever see the point of using guides all the way through either.

it's slightly different if you're stuck at a specific bit and need assistance, and I occasionally use them to see how much of a game I have left, but that's about it.

What's the absolute worst is games that require guides if you're to stand any chance of finding all the collectibles (one of the many reasons why collectibles are a plague upon gaming generally, but that's a rant for another place)

I quickly grew too bored with the terrible moon logic of LA Noire's cases and used a guide rather than dropping to dashboard every time Phelps' psychotic tendencies showed through and what I thought was a request for more information turned out to be an accusation of murder out of the blue.

Ah that may be ok then :) It was fairly obvious from the previews it was going to be frustratingly vague and inexact, that's why I stayed well clear. Really nice idea, but I'll wait for the third or fourth attempt (if it happens), when they nail it a bit more.
I just wasn't expecting them to do it worse than the Phoenix Wright games had been doing for ever.

LA Noire is pretty easy to max if you have a guide; I did it the day after it came out.

Most things are with a guide! (Except for Dark Souls, the bastard.) I don't get using a guide the day after! Isn't that like filling out a crossword book straight from the answers from the back. No wonder you've got over 300 games complete.
I don't! I've only managed (or had the patience) to 100% a small handful.

w/regards to the guide, I didn't mean a walkthrough - the rockstar website lists the locations of all the collectible stuff like the film reels and cars (and ticks them off as you collect them). I wouldn't dream of attempting that sort of tedious collectathon without that feature.

I have finally completed Peggle for 250/250!

2 1/2 years of play, and untold hours spent on the 100% clearances has finally ended! By far the hardest achievement I have done (according to TA at least) and very happy.

    Hitman: Blood Money - 1000/1000

Decent set of achievements to get. Multiple routes and methods on each level keep it from getting stale over each difficulty (which strangely, don't stack, so you have to do each one seperately) and by the time I reached Professional difficulty, I found it stupidly easy as I had mastered each level to the point where I could get in and out of each job in under 10 minutes without being collared.

Just obtained full 1655GS for Fallout New Vegas. Got through my second playthrough rather quickly (about 12 hours). I sided with the Legion and played on Hardcore, which is just plain cool: making sure your character eats, sleeps and drinks regularly. Other than that I'm glad it's over with. New Vegas is a fantastic game but a very buggy one as well...

I'm working on that 1K at the moment, what are the bugs?

I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

Completed Sega Rally Online Arcade for 200/200. Essentially all you need to do is select manual transmission and it's impossible to lose a race.

    Not much of a challenge.

My xbox froze 4 times, once during flight while boosting, also when collecting missing minikits. Characters for sale didn't pop up where they supposed to.

A pity really, but I got there in the end. For a moment I feared the Lego Harry Potter syndrom, where I got to 99.8% and couldn't wrap up because of a bug.

Got full GS for Silent Spin-off Downpour. Major technical annoyances aside, this was pretty fun to ace as the endings are fairly rewarding.

What Potter glitch did you encounter?

I had a gold block in the clock tower not appear. Realy annoying.

completed my 15th game over the weekend (admittedly 13 of those are XBLA) with Beyond Good & Evil HD.

Must really pick up that final achievement on Tropico 3 at some point to balance out the retail completion a little bit!

Recently got 1k on Darksiders 2, much more of a boring chore than the first game, and the crucible was a dull way to end it as well.

I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

    400/400 Mark of the Ninja

Played through the game twice with a few level specific stuff to clean up after. An excellent game with achievements that reward you for playing a differently and exploring the levels. Hard to fault it, never a grind. Just fun.

    *is in admiration*

I love the time trials however, some of the three stars times are out of my reach ... I dislike becoming frustrated with games I really enjoy so, reluctantly, I shyed away from those challenges in the end.

I believe I have about ten Arcade games fully completed however, only yesterday, I finally chalked up my first 'full' game, but not an overly difficult one though; Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.

I think I got that for 320 Microsoft Points a while back ... stunningly good value!

Don't laugh, but I have finally got the speedy mcspeederton achievement on Borderlands last night after about 20 attempts to get it so I could finally 1k Borderlands at last.

This is why I don't play driving games.

    :)

Well done Vortex. I still need to get the different class based achievements to get the original 1k.

Then the slog of finishing of moxxi's to finish the dlc.

If everyone is doing it, I may as well too :)

Got the full cheevo list for L.A. Noire including DLC. Now that was a grind! Would have carried on trying for Gears 3 if it wasn't that co-op bug.
