Pretty much every live recording I've heard in the last few years it sounds shite.
His voice seems fine, not sure why you think otherwise?I'm a grumpy bastard.

CV is cardiovascular I presume. Meaning he runs/rows/steps/cycles to it. In a leotard."Duffman is thrusting in the direction of the problem! Oh, yeah!"

He was never overly impressive live from my recollection. Imagine singing like he does for two hours?squarejawhero wrote:

Er, Cornell was ALWAYS the far better singer of the two. Vedder basically lows like a cow on that tune

Registered 6 years agoSuperunknown still blows me away, fucking incredible album - the absolute definition of EPIC. Cornell's range is just mind blowing too - Rusty Cage is probably his best vocal performance, really strong and soulful.
Cut the guy some slack, guys. He's been in the game for a good 25+ years now, he's getting old! Same goes for Vedder, too, however Backspacer was actually pretty darn impressive and return to form in my eyes.
I also didn't actually MIND Scream by Cornell..I can appreciate he was trying to do something new, but erm, when compared to Soundgarden, it's a little bit embarrassing O_o -

Yeah, if they come to London I'm all over that like a fly on shit.

Meanwhile, I'm currently listening to his solo album Scream since it got a critical slating...
... and enjoying it. -

Ah they are playing the 8th of August. Matt will be done touring with Pearl Jam (May-July) by then, I thought the two might overlap.
It's officially official - they're playing Lollapalooza.
If they play the UK I'd love to go. See you in Belfast Mr Cameron. -

Pretty good quality, not taken from the soundboard but as good as non-soundboard recording is going to get. The band sound tight and on it. -

edit - wow, Kim is 49. He looks it too. Funny to think I thought he was in his twenties when I was listening to them in the nineties, but he was older than I am now! -
