Badland was very highly rated last year, a few best-of-year awards.

Vector is like Canabalt/Mirror's Edge with a nice graphic style.

Breach & Clear is a tactical turn based thing, a bit like SWAT4 for Android.

Riptide is a very good jetbike game, very impressive graphics.

    Not tried Zombie Gunship.

Aww it's not free and doesn't seem to play nice with KitKat.

I installed this but never got around to using it in any way.

    Beyondpod

I see there's paying versions, so no doubt the free version is limited in some ways.

I've used OneCast for the past year. It's does the job, not perfect, but easily the best free options I tried.

What does everyone think of the Humble Android bundle this time around? I'm not sold on Breach and Clear but Badlands looks nice.

I bought Breach and Clear a couple of weeks ago when it was half-price, as it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the description failed to include the words "dull" or "boring".

Badlands is lovely to look at. It's free but ad-supported anyway; the HB version just gets rid of the ads. It's well worth downloading and trying from the Play store, but I settled for the $1 bundle this time around.

Mmmm, I'm thinking of missing the average this time around too. I don't mind the ad's so much, I can live with it for games that I only play for a couple of hours at most.

God of light, free light puzzle game. Oddly addictive and relaxing to play like osmos

Having read about it on the equivalent iPhone thread. Can recommend Threes simple puzzle game but very addictive, for me at least. Well worth the Ł1.20

Yeah, I use it. Its not bad, perfectly servicable. Its not the most intelligent in navigating and it did seem to be better in previous revisions, but for free, you cant complain.

Its fucking massive, though. Takes up well over 1gb with maps.

The other reason I see is that Tom Tom, in their wisdom, have made maps too big for their devices. So if you buy a map for western Europe, you can only pick one or two 'zones' to include. Fucked if I'm giving them 75 quid for that.

Just wanted to big this up - great app with responsive devs (recent update broke show notes for me, they fixed it in a few hours), worth the cash if you spend your life listening to bloody podcasts like me!

Give it a shot. Its free so youve got nothing to lose.

Been using it for ages, actually. Used to have it on the iPhone too, many moons ago. Tried it after my garmin died a few years ago and never bothered getting anything else.

    I already own doggcatcher.

Would you say it's better (assuming you've used doggcatcher)?
