Should be a way of turning off notifications in the main SMS app.

The vibrate default function is very weak, I can never tell when I get a message! I downloaded Handcent SMS which has custom vibrate options which has helped. Problem is that now, whenever I get a message it goes through that and the default SMS program, and even if I read the message on both it still comes up with a number 1 notifying me of an unread message. The only way to get rid of this is to delete the actual message.

Is there a better program to use? - Do I just need to delete the default message program?
You should be able to go into the Default Messaging App and turn off Notifications.

    Edit: Or what he said.

FWIW, SMS Popup also allows you to set custom notifications including vibration patterns without having to install a whole separate SMS application. It still requires for the default message notification to be disabled though.

Final Fantasy Dimensions is half price in the Google Play 1 year anniversary:

Still a big price, but that's a massive saving as a consequence.

SpellTower is now available. No demo but well worth the price; a fun and polished game.

http://vyclone.com is an interesting one, again suffers from the 'lack of initial user's' syndrome but just might be one to watch come this summer's festivals...

Am I missing something with the magazine subscription offers that are always on - seems like subscribe then cancel straight away, and you get issues for free, as often as you like?

Not seen many comments about it, but Star Wars Pinball is well impressive. 1.30 (or thereabouts) brings you the Episode 5 Empire Strikes Back table, but you can also grab the Clone Wars and Boba Fett tables as well.

I've been playing solar2. Its a bit expensive for the full but there is a demo to try it out.

Reminds me of osmos but without levels.

Just got Football Manager 2013 but first impressions aren't too good to be honest. I think the last few PSP versions were a lot more intuitive and seemed to have more features :(

If it's the same as the ios version then I'd say it's basically retarded and pointless.

According to HUKD Broken Sword 2, Rayman Jungle Run and Sonic Episode 1 are 99p on the Amazon App store today.

Sounds like the same one then! Gutted tbh, as I loved the PSP versions.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with FM either. The potential was there but it just annoyed me too much, at the end of the day.

This is correct. I've just bought Rayman and Broken Sword 2. Annoyingly though, I can't download BS on my data plan and I have to do it by wife, even though I have unlimited data and this connection is often faster than my modem at home!

Edit - wife, ha ha! Bloody predictive text.

I thought it might be like when I ask the wife to turn the Xbox on while I'm at work so it will start downloading the game.

    Except with a phone.

Started using Opera Beta. So far, I'm preferring it to Chrome.

Agree, their tablet beta is a big improvement over standard mobile browser - Chrome did something odd with the fonts with the recent update, not as clear?!

I guess it was inevitable in a way but still, that's not nice - [link=http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/03/13/breaking-google-has-begun-purging-ad-blocking-apps-from-the-play-store/">Google is removing ad-blocking apps from Play. Fortunately there's

Amazon Free App Of The Day is Osmos HD today.

Was Pocket League Story yesterday too.

They seem to be on a roll.
