@crashVoodoo Did you try Evernote? seems like it's trying to copy that.

    Here's the 7x7 puzzler

It's one of those games that grows on you. At first I thought it was too random to really be a puzzler but the more I played the better I got so there's definitely some skill involved.

I love the clean look of it too.

Now go and download it so that they implement global highscores. Why haven't google done a Game center yet?

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

    Evernote is fucking awesome!!
(I have little experience of other note apps to compare it to...)

Has anyone covered much in the way of games suitable for a 4/5 y/o?
My boy likes playing Fruit Ninja and one of the countless bubble shoot clones. He also likes the idea of playing Chu Chu Rocket, but the concept of placing the arrows in the correct places is a step slightly too far for him at the moment.
    Anyone got any other suggestions?

My 6 y/o daughter really loves the "Where's my..." series (Where's My Water, Where's My Perry, Where's my Valentine...). Nice little puzzlers - she's been playing them since she was 4, so they're not amazingly hard to get into. Nice thing is that they're actually quality games unlike a lot of "for kids" titles

I have the Where's My Water demo - I'll let him have a go on it over the weekend and see how he likes it.

Bridge Constructor is really good if they like games with a bit thought required. It's like that old PC game Pontifex.

In addition to the "Where's My..." games, my 3 year old loves Ski Safari & Cut The Rope too.

Also, oddly, 14px which is really hard but he bloody loves it.

I downloaded it this morning and had a go while doing my morning poo.
Quite liked it - got to level 2...

"The Xbox Live Arcade Action Shooter"?????

Whatever happened to the Gamecube? And wasn't it on Dreamcast before that?

    We're kind of both right:

Ikaruga (斑鳩?, lit. Japanese Grosbeak) is a shoot 'em up video game developed by Treasure. It was released in the arcades in 2001 on the Sega NAOMI, subsequently released on Dreamcast in Japan and then worldwide on the Nintendo GameCube, and was released on Xbox Live Arcade on April 9, 2008. It is a spiritual sequel to Radiant Silvergun.

I was chatting to the creator of the iOS multilayer game, Spaceteam earlier today, he says an Android version is coming our way soonish and will have more news in the next couple of weeks.

    Cool news.

TweetLanes is a nice Twitetr client that just went openSource (not sure what that will mean for the future)

DashClock Widget is a very good lock screen widget that adds a bunch of notifications to the lockscreen clock. The bonus is that other apps can hook into it and display data. So now I can see how many unread posts I have in Press straight on the lock screen. More usefull is that i see my next meeting and alarm.

I think it needs Jellybean. You can check the live feed here to see when JB on the S2 goes live in your region.

Fucks sake. Also incompatible with my Note. Yay Android fragmentation.

I think it needs Jellybean. JB should be coming to the Note 1 from March.

Yeah, phone manufacturers insistance on putting their own UI on top of Android is rather annoying. I hope it bites them in their ass.

Shame really as DashClock is a very nice widget.
