    Machinarium (beat the average donation)

Just noticed this, I didnt even know those games were available on android. Im looking forward to giving crayon physics a go on a tablet, sounds like the perfect format for it.

It's been way too long since I completed a game, let alone on Android!
Well, the Bard's Tale is done.
Thanks to the save file being compatible, I was able to switch between my Xperia Play (small screen, but physical buttons) and Nexus 7 (bigger screen, touch controls only).
What a funny little game, was my first playthrough so I enjoyed it. Though the incessant battles (and the need to level up) started to grate toward the end. Found the ending plot twist actually surprising, though I had to look up some walkthrough to be able to see all 3 endings.
My rating: 8/10. Well worth playing if you haven't already, and don't mind seemingly never-ending hack'n'slashing. And I think the touch controls are well implemented in this game.

I'm absolutely hammering Caferteria Nipponica at the mo.

First play through seemed a bit meh, I'm now on my fourth or fifth :)

Anyone had a go on play music? The app is pretty basic but it does the job. Think ill switch to this from spotify as I can't get on with it. Time to rip all my old CDs :(

It's basic but at least it's officially out here now. The syncing is super simple though, so it won't recognise when you've removed something locally or stuff like that. Ideally I'd use something like it for storage, and a different player.

Yeah it all seems very basic. I'm sure they will add more features as they go on.

Hey kids, what's a good app for managing podcasts? Or am I just better off manually copying them on to the phone?

I use Google's Listen app. But TuneinRadio and Beyondpod are good too, use them a bit.

Another vote for pocketcasts.  Google listen will cease to find podcasts and feeds soon

Actually, turns out it is free.
edit: no it isn't. It says it is, then does the old "Pro version" bait and switch.

Couple of games im playing at the moment are

    Hill Climb

    &

    ChalkBall

Really simple but I keep going back to beat my scores. Its annoying how much I suck at hill climb.

Pool Break 3D is surprisingly fun. The physics are sometimes a bit off with balls getting stuck nearly on top of pockets without falling down but the AI is rather strong. A good way to spend a few minutes at a time if you feel like playing with balls.

What's the best driving game on Android? Are there any where you actually have to brake and accelerate rather than it being done for you?

Never had a problem with Google Listen. Just needs the rss link and it downloads them each time it's available.
