Just started using them for games (already had a film rental list with them). Got Force Unleashed first. Looking forward to blasting through more games than I could afford to buy!

So THAT is why you didnt want to swap my copy of TFU for PoP. You fiend!

I've heard good and bad things about Lovefilm. The overall impression I got was that once your trial had finished and you start actually paying, the quality and reliability of the service goes down unless you game the system.

    I currently do this :) I use the option where you pay £15 and that let's you get 6 games with two at you house at any one time. It's really because you don't have to commit to a pay monthly plan, you just top it up when you want to ;

What are the different deals LoveFilm offer? Either I'm blind or the website wants me to sign up BEFORE telling me the packages o_O

We're on a £14.99 a month one, unlimited films and games, two discs at a time. So we've got one list for games and one list for films, and we just work our way through them, a disc each.

I have 3 discs at a time including games which is 18.99 I think.

I generally have 1 Bluray, 1 portable game and 1 home console game unless I am playing a game from my own backlog.

The postal service is a little ropey in West London. So it can take a long time to get deliveries which is odd as lovefilm always recieve what I send them the following day.

I think 3 discs without games is 16.99.

    It's a very shit website.

It has a 'PAYG' service where it states that you can rent dvds, blu-rays or games using rental credits.

    The options are:
6.00 for three discs over three months, one at a time
12:00 for six discs over three months, two at a time
15.00 for six discs over three months, two at a time, including games.

So actually you can't join the first one and just have games, even though the sentence to the left of the page suggests you can.

I don't want six discs over three months. A game a month would suit me. 6.00 for that service would suit me. Stop making it difficult for me to join and don't make it so fucking difficult to navigate your site to find out the price plans to the point that I get bored and don't bother.

Yeah I was looking for a game or two per month really - not that arsed about the movies as DVDs are so bloody cheap after a month or so anyway.

So are there any other better or comparable options for renting games or is LoveFilm best of the bunch? I noticed Tescos service is powered by LoveFilm but is ever so slightly cheaper.

That is what I started doing. I only have 9 games on my game rentals list though! I obviously do not want to play as many games as I think.

    :/

    What?

Just because Mafia is one of my favourite games of all time doesn't mean I have to buy the sequel. I would but I know I'd buy it, complete it within a couple of weeks and then sell it on at a loss and a bit of hassle. It's easier and cheaper for me to wait a bit, get it via Lovefilm and avoid all the hassle.

Plus I'm really busy with work at the moment anyway so simply don't have the time to game as it is.

Tesco rental is powered by Lovefilm, works out around a quid cheaper for each package and you can get a 90 day free trial with this code - XMLFZZTES7

Although it would appear tesco doesnt support more than queue if you need that feature

Anyone know of a reason why James Bond: Blood Stone isn't available to reserve on the site?

Only a month till it's released, seems a little strange.

Something to do with them not agreeing terms with the studio etc? Just like certain films that are not available, or some gubbins like that.

It's an Activision title and they've got pretty much all the other Activision games on there.

    :/

Seem to stock every other piece of James Bond media except for this and Quantum of Solace, so it can't be a licensing issue.

Email them and ask, they normally give you an extra credit for your troubles.

Checking again, can see it now (not that I want to rent it or anything). I must have misspelled it or something.
