Registered 4 years agoGetting 60fps in DX9 mode vysnced. That's with highest settings. My card is a 660ti running stock.
DX11 mode 50fps with 2x AA.
Latest Nvidia beta drivers.

Registered 7 years agoBest sandbox game of the year. Shame they took out the in-game map UI from FC2, that was very well integrated. Now it is just a normal map+radar.
Wildlife can really annoy the stealthing. What's that? A growl? Oh a Tiger has been stalking me!
The game looks great, runs great, feels great. It is great. Story is a bit silly but who cares about that. I just skinned me some deer and made myself a better weapon holster.. Stealth feels very natural and doesn't fall flat with just the one awareness indicator, similar to hitman but doesn't feel like it sucks balls.

Registered 6 years agoYeah I was going to ask this- is there any way to use the machete as a normal weapon?
I ran out of ammo and had to kill a comodo dragon with a grenade when it was chasing me and only about a foot away...a machete would have made things so much easier.

Registered 8 years agoI love this game, the constant messages popping up are a tad annoying but forgiven for how well everything else is done. The RPG lite elements are a very welcome addition.
I am finding myself frequently getting sidetracked to happily harvest leaves or skin animals etc, which oddly I found really tedious and pointless in Assassins Creed 3. -
