Which outcome did you choose? I joined Citra, poor ending for sure.
I saved my friends, didnt fancy the prospect of slitting Liza's throat, as annoying as she was.

I literally cannot stand the fact you cannot holster your gun. Has anyone got any best practices on how to limit this intrusion in screen space?

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

I hadn't unlocked it but I tried to go to the south island yesterday, halfway across the water a message popped up about being out of bounds and turned me back round the other way.

I was - until the end - under the impression that the fratboy cuntishness of the protagonist and his friends was intentional and that they'd be doing something clever with it. Apparently they're just cunts.

I liked the turret section. That was cool. Far Cry 2 didn't have enough of them.

I have only played a very small bit of it. Looking forward to an epic session tonight.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

I played until 1am last night. On a week night and that involved forcing myself to get to bed at a reasonable time. It didn't matter as our son woke up and puked due to his cold a bit later anyway, but them's the breaks.

I dread to think what time I will head to bed tonight. My urge to loot and explore what might be beyond that hill over there will probably lead to much tiredness over the weekend. :)

Anyone else getting a mouse lag in this?

I've got v-sync off, GPU rendering 0 frames ahead and have turned off mouse acceleration but it's still there :/

    What is your frame rate?

Seems smooth enough... I'll try turning the settings down low and see if that makes any difference, but I'm not sure it will - atm the game feels kind of like Arma where everything's all floaty regardless.

I'd have preffered slightly poorer graphics for a higher, solid, frame rate.

The problem with that system isn't just holding the button, but getting the prompt. Skinning animals is a pain in the arse because you have to walk around the animal trying to get the prompt.

Borderlands 2 and this both have that horrible problem where you have to get the exact pixel in order to activate things. Looting is a nightmare too.

Strangely enough, I am on the last mission So decided to try and platinum it first, only for it to freeze on me this evening. Completely locked the console. After many many many hours, very bizarre.

Nope. That would be me. I just took this entire outpost out with two sniper bullets and a knife.

Seriously, who thought that turning an open-world game into a linear cover shooter against waves of enemies for coop a good idea? Urgh.

My Insane Edition has arrived. Kudos to Sainsburys for finding a few more in stock and their super fast delivery.

Mrs Hermit has immediately confiscated it, wrapped it and stuck it under the tree. :(

Uh oh, does this have the "Attack The Block" effect then, where the protaginists are so utterly unlikeable you want them to die horribly?

I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.
