Little help? Been looking for this sodding boat power lead in the cave for about half an hour and can't find it. I'm sure I must have missed something obvious...
It's under water in the little pool that's marked in yellow on the mini-map. It's not a power lead but a tool.

    Took me a while too.

Now I've realised I read it wrong and was looking for the wrong thing...

Hasn't helped me find it though.

Killed me a bear, though, so it's not completely been a waste of time.

    :)

    It's not all bad then!

Where's best for shark hunting folks? Is there many in that narrow stretch of water between the starting area & the doc's house?

What works best? I aim to go swimming then hop out & try to shoot them when I spot 'em?

I want another weapon slot asap for more creative base attacking.

Theres normally small potruding rocks in the middle of the sea you can stand on while hunting. Eventually youll get a shark hunting mission which shows you a good area filled with the things. Although that mission forces you to use the bow, you can always go back after and use something like a grenade launcher, fire arrows, or a plain old machine gun.

I'm finding the bow and the marksman sight a bit hard to use. I can't judge the distance very well. I was hoping there'd be an indication on the camera, so I could use that to tag and get distance, then use the bow.

Yeah thats the problem i have. Id have preferred some sort of super duper sight that gave you a bit more info, but nvm.

Are there different sharks in this? I need to kill a bull shark to unlock the heavy takedown ability.

Been enjoying this, just "jumped" to the second island. Apart from a few minor texture and ragdoll glitches nothing that compares to a bethesda game. Usually I read about "game-breaking" glitches and bugs, and I think to myself "that stuff never happens to me, those types must just be unlucky". But I guess it was inevitable one game would throw me one my way.

I have a grenade model stuck in my hand/wrist, and no matter how many grenades I throw, times I die or cut-scenes I jump into, the grenade model remains. I googled the problem and a few people share it:
    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/732947-Grenade-Stuck-in-My-Hand-Wrist-Forums

To get an aesthetically annoying glitch like this (just when the second island has opened up to my super levelled/powered character), is quite the annoyance, I don't much fancy starting the game again, and with Ubi's track record I'm unsure they'll patch it.

    Any solutions you think?

Have you tried clearing your cache and rebooting the game?

I normally tag outposts on the map before heading to them. And the distance to the outpost appears in the minimap. It gives a rough guide that helps when using the bow.

First thing I thought of but sadly it heralded no solution. The grenade model seems quite literally stuck to the character models hand/wrist, it reminds me a tad of when arrows used to be permanently stuck in Skyrim characters. I'll have to put the game down until Ubisoft patch my particular problem (hopefully) otherwise I'll become annoyed, and it will sour an otherwise pleasing gaming experience.

Weird. The end of a chapter has a slightly different loading screen (where you get a wonderland quote), i wonder if that would help.

Pretty much completed this now despite the fact that the main character and his friends are the worst type of human beings on earth. Who the fuck thinks any part of anything about any of them is even marginally likeable? Ruins the game.

    @Dirtbox

Yeah I totally agree. The only one even remotely likeable is Liza, but even she's on the wrong side of needy.

I guess theyre supposed to represent the target audience, which says a lot about who ubi thinks their target audience is.

I guess if you're not a cool, athletic, jock, popular type you can't relate to the characters. Unlike you though i could relate perfectly.
Did you just call yourself a cunt?
