Just watched Ep 2 of this and thought it was great. Nathan though, bit of a prick.

    :)

Whole series for £11.99 and no delivery on Play.com right now.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

that's the most audacious ending to a series I've seen in a long time. Especially if they didn't know they would get a second series.
I liked the ending but Simon's situation with the lady and the freezer was left without a proper conclusion imho. Thankfully there will be a second series, they sure left plenty to continue on. I just think it's maybe too obvious that Kelly will rescue Nathan with her power... I don't think Nathan is that bothered to "do a Buffy" and claw himself out. At least not until the battery runs out.

"She's got you thinking this is how you’re supposed to be. It's not. We're young. We’re supposed to drink too much. We're supposed to have bad attitudes and shag each other's brains out. We were designed to party. We owe it to ourselves to party hard. We owe it to each other. This is it. This is our time. So a few of us will overdose, or go mental. Charles Darwin said you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. That's what it's about - breaking eggs - by eggs, I mean, getting twatted on a cocktail of class As.

If you could see yourselves... We had it all. We have fucked up bigger and better than any generation that came before us. We were so beautiful... We're screw-ups. I plan on staying a screw-up until my late twenties, or maybe even my early thirties. And I will shag my own mum before I let her.... or anyone else take that away from me!

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I went out and bought it after local and Whizzo recommended it on the Being Human thread, and me and the Mrs watched it all in one evening. Top stuff indeed! When's the next series?

Only just got round to watching the first 4 episodes of this. What have I been missing! It's friggin' superb!

Favourite character has to be Nathan. I like his kookiness/twattiness :o)

Yay, we need more Misfits love :)
I'm apprehensive that the second series won't live up to my expectations though.

OH it is a new series!? The adverts on TV implied it was a re-run (in preparation for the new series).

Can't wait now! Gotta see how Nathan gets out of his predicament - even though it’s going to be painfully obvious how they discover he's still alive

No it's not. It's a repeat off the first series as you read in the other thread!

Only just catching up with this now with the re-run. It's certainly got something more than lots of other crap out there, and does have some stand out moments. But not feeling the love as much as some in here.... Different though, and the Irish lad is a cracking actor.

yeah, I think it's the Irish guy that's pushes it over the follow-it-properly threshold for me.

Been sat on the hard disk for aaages this, finally got around to watching them all. V good! The final scene was a bit unsettling, tempered by the fact that there's a second series and it is a comedy drama after all.

Oh, and Dexter Fletcher as Nathan's pop was truly inspired casting, I remember the former being a similarly annoying oik in Press Gang.

Just started watching this the other day when I was bored and looking for something to entertain.

Really got in to it now. Just watched episode 4 (the one where Curtis tries to change what happened when he got busted in the nightclub). Clever episode I thought. i really like the balance between comedy and drama.

It's shame I only have two more episodes in this series to watch. But then there is series 2 to start on :)

Also they have put some great music in to it so far; LCD Soundsystem, UNKLE, Justice and Benga. Definately a fitting soundtrack.
