I would have thought so, and for a limited time I imagine. I cant see Asda or Tesco going much lower so I think theyll run out of stock pretty damn quick

I have no interest in this (COD4 was fun but I'm a little bored of FPS games) but for 26 that's a cheap Christmas gaming present for the missus to get me, I suppose.

Sainsburys dont open at midnight so you will have to go in the morning, some stores are reserving copies over the phone, others are saying they wont and some are saying ring back monday to reserve a copy.

Hmm... I wasn't going to buy any more games until the new year, and wasn't particularly interested in MW2... but 26? That's one hell of a bargain.

    Hope that is true.
I pass a large Sainsbury's on the way to work, so no Midnight opening before and relatively late opening suits me fine.

That price will happen elsewhere too if Sainsbury's are doing it.

My local one (Warlingham) let me ring up and reserve 2 as long as I pick them up before midday. They were a bit cagey on the pricing though, claiming 'There will be some sort of promotion but we don't know what yet'.

Apparently 26 isn't the final selling price. Just spoken to someone at my local Sainsburys and they said there is a chance it will go up when the embargo is lifted depending on what other retailers are selling the game at.

Modern Warfare 2 pre-order only 10 at Comet - apparently. Not sure they'll honour this one.

A deposit of 10 is required to confirm your pre-order. You will be required to pay an additional 34.99 when you complete your purchase.

yeah, you would think increasingly irrelevant Japanese games would also be worth pulling this kind of publicity stunt.

I know for a fact that our local Happy Shopper heavily discounted Lost Odyssey just to drive sales of black binbags.

They've literally just changed that - when I first clicked it it didn't say that.

What is the likelihood if this actually being true? I can't see how they can charge that little (they must be taking a huge hit to do that on each copy sold, seeing as the publishers have upped the price to distributors/retailers over standard RRP games) and is this just a load of HotdealsUK bullshit. I remember FIFA 10 being confirmed at 24.99 at Sainsbury's, but it wasn't on release.
