I concur with the original poster. I saw a defence somebody else put forward to say that Russell Howard is very good for his age. I put this to you, there are a ton of british comics who are on the circuit, not out of their 20's and are hungrier, funnier, braver and cleverer than Howard. Unfortunately, they aren't on TV.

/wishes that a british comic of equivalent talent had a combination of charisma, balls, talent and luck that Eddie Murphy had when he managed to snag himself a gig on Saturday Night Live at 19(!). And Beverly Hills Cop at 23. Wowser.

Interesting fact, Berverly Hills Cop was originally planned as a non-comedy starring Stallone.

When I first saw him, introducing a movie premier a few weeks ago, I thought he was pretty good.

I have since seen some mock the week and his new show and found him to be dull and repetitive. I mean, he reused the same jokes that he used in the movie premier in the first episode of his new show - thats poor.

I don't dislike him, he seems like a nice chap, but he's not funny at all. He just makes me cringe.

I'm amazed that anybody is saying he's good on Mock the Week. He is without doubt the worst member of the panel..

No, you're wrong. That title has been reserved for Andy Parsons.

A man who like to shout.
    With some veracity.
    Every single statement.
    In short sentences.
    To reinforce its validity
    As a joke.

I always feel a bit sorry for Andy Parsons because he really isn't funny. At all.

I think he is OK, just a young chap trying hard to do good.

Good Luck to him and i hope he does well...

Ha ha, I couldn't have said it better.

I've started to think he's getting to be a bit of a 1 trick pony, but then I've never thought his humour was amazingly original, just energetically presented, like Lee Evans, which gets old fast.

Mock the week is actually pointless without Frankie Boyle. In particular I don't like the bit where they have to go and do a line about a random story. It's clever and all but so boring and not remotely funny.

'Things a TV presenter should never say'
    'Look at my cock!'
    'Fancy a shag?'
Punt or Dennis I can never remeber which one he is:
/puts on his newsreader voice like he does every week without fail:
'and now we go over live to our reporter... who's having a wank'.

    It's dire

At least all of the people mentioned in this thread are better than Michael Macintyre, he is woeful.

You are a factory of sadness.

Actually, Family Guy is much better now than it was before.

The first three seasons are shit compared to the latest ones...

Do we know who the blonde girl was from the sketches in the earlier episodes yet?

Her names Madison Welch. She did sketches for the first few eps, but has been ill lately so missed the final ones. She'll be back though, don't you worry!

Family Guy sucks. Each episode is a cheap tireless exercise in Non Sequitur.

I think Russell Howard is great. You know who I don't like? The bald one with a goatee. It's like a mental patient wandered on the set and nobody had the heart to get rid of him.

To educate people like you. The guy's no Frankie Boyle, but he's definitely worthy of his own TV show.
