Fuck him. Get an airhorn and sound it at random times outside the door of his flat.

You don't want to kill the child... So a dummy laced with sugar instead. Send the baby on a sugar rush, with the inevitable sugar crash afterwards.

    TAKE THAT SLEEP DEPRIVED PARENT!

I took the batteries out of our doorbell when we got a baby. Did it again the second time.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

I feel his sleep deprived pain and we do keep it down for their sake (not sure if we should have to? Is that how it works when someone in a block of dozens has a baby?), but this was an honest mistake. I've only just moved in so I had no idea it was his bell I was ringing.

Plus ya know, I'm an adult and don't like getting shouted at.

Get a plastic doll. When you see him shake it at him and scream.

Two can play the baby game.

He actually shouted at you? I would really struggle not to escalate things there, baby or no.

He opened the door without a word but a cunty expression, so I was all coy and said "sorry, haha I was meeting a courier and forgot my keys".. Nothing... Starting walking to my flat and he said in a raised voice with my back turned "Don't EVER ring my bell" (this was after pointing at his baby several times) and I turned around and started apologizing again but he was already walking away haha

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt this time and assume he was really struggling to get the thing to sleep, but he better not be offish to me for the rest of my stay here.

I think I'll tell him to have his baby keep it down as its crying irritates me.

    Anyhoo, rant over. :)

Is this some kind of South African mating ritual we're witnessing here?

I would ring his bell whenever I passed it.

Nah then I wouldn't do anything.

Very angry people Saffa's nwith easy access to guns, just look at Sport, Zizou and Pretorious.

Oh it was in South Africa? I just assumed it was Basingstoke or something. Yeah I'd probably leave it then.

This. In fact I shudder to think what would happen if Zizou took on any advice from this forum in general.

You should accuse the baby of witchcraft and get someone to eat his heart.

At least thats how im lead to believe this kind of situation is handled in south africa.

    He totally called it

I could take him in a fight.

    The baby, I mean.

But seriously, I'm a lover not a fighter. I'll let it slide.

I live in Sea Point, Cape Town which is home to people like this (yes, these are real Capetonians :

What I'm getting at is not everyone is packing heat. There are still people you can have confrontations with, and this was one of them. Not that I would take it that far over something like this.

This is me and my brother though:
