The Citoren C1 is a pretty good car for the money (6k) and is cheap as shite to insure and tax (35 road tax for a year).

Actually this is a great car for the money. It's got an ugly bum, but for that price who gives a shit.

Citroen C1, Toyota Aygo and Peugot 107 are the same car - it was a joint project. The only difference is the nose styling.

The Toyota's generally regarded as having the best residual value of the three.

The Alfa relaibility thing is a myth these days, and the Mito is a reskinned Fiat anyway. It's a good shout actually.

Mito drives like a dog apparently. Richard Porter mentioned it in his column in Evo last month. He preferred the Korean hire car that he drove to the Mito launch...

So I'm torn between a Fiat 500 and an Aygo.

On the one hand, Aygo is cheaper. On the other, the Fiat has FOLDY ROOF WITH RED BITS

is your car 10 years old?
  • Deleted user 2 October 2009 11:05:01
    Yeah, it's a T-Reg.

Good timing as well, as the exhaust just fell off.

Fiat 500 all the way, Wife's just ordered one so I can tell you you'd be on a 3 month wait if that's a factor.

The Aygo is a very funky car, and a damn sight cheaper than the 500 cabrio. Don't like the buttresses on the Fiat either, but the hardtop is certainly chic.

Mrs thrawn has a Fiat 500 and absolutley loves it. It's quite a fun little car to drive. Not much power but it's so light that doesn't matter. Very good for fuel and cheap to tax.

Fiat make very good small cars and they are certainly more interesting than Toyotas. I'd go for the Panda personally, great little car that and absolutely peanuts to run.

A mito or an aygo of the ones mentioned, but I would go for a honda jazz to be honest. Awesome little cars, absolutely bullet proof and dont lose much money.

You could get a 500, but the matching handbag would take you over your budget.

Stop going on about them. They are uglier and worse to drive than the previous model.

Calm down I only mentioned it twice.

Not uglier! How dare you! It's a sexy beast...I haven't driven the previous model but it's a better drive than the Audi A3.

    Come and get it cumslingers!

Gremmi, outlandish choices: Daihatsu Copen, Kia Cee'd (two ends of the spectrum there), Jeep Wrangler (currently almost half price!), bottom rung Mini One.
