    Being impatient I just bought from ebay, only £6. I know I could have got one free from M$ but that would have meant waiting. Once I've used it I will quite happily lend it to anyone who wants it.

    I phoned M$ and they don't include the Tx kits with the super elites so I'm assuming they must work.

    Anyone know if you can order the kit over the phone as opposed to sending that form off?

    Actually that's what I did. Called up support and talked round to the cable and then said, "So can I just request it from you now please?" and he sort of begrudgingly went through it with me and LO! it arrived the next week.

    That form is a ball ache, isn't it?

    Anyone got a cable they've got going spare? Far too lazy to request one and I've been sat with my elite with my original 20gb drive in it for the last couple of weeks (a testament to my laziness). Not too lazy to send it back/on afterwards, of course ;-)

    Well my ways of persuation aren't exactly great, so assuming I can't talk them round I will just have to send that form off I suppose. I appreciate the response though!

    Just tried to copy over my 120gig HDD to my spanking new 250gig HDD... no joy.

    I think it must be a software issue as I can't see a different cable being needed. Anyone know a way round this?

    Well I phoned up asking about how I'd go about moving from one HDD to another, pretending that I didn't already in fact know exactly how to do that... ;)

    He explained I needed this kit and so I asked him for it. He said, no I need to fill in a form. I said, can't you just sort it out for me now I'm on the phone, I've been on the phone for ages. He sort of ummed and aahhed but I just played dumb and didn't let him entertain the notion of making me go to their website. I was ready to tell him I didn't have the internet if he did say that...

    Well I say updated because people reported they didn't work, but then someone mentioned 'new' ones did, and mine worked...so :p From 20 to 60 too. I'll have a look I worry I don't know where the disc is, only the cable.

    I had to last week because I sent the form off in the middle of September and hadn't received anything. Just say to them that you sent off the form ages ago and haven't received it and then they'll ask for the details to send you a new one.

    So after buying a larger HD on ebay, does anybody have one of these sitting around doing nothing. Would've bought one on ebay, but they are going for crazy prices.

    So has anybody tried an old 20G > 250G transfer yet? Getting my new super elite in the next few hours. Have a transfer cable just wondering if anybody has tried it.

    I ordered mine over a week ago to transfer from 20GB to 120GB and it still hasn't arrived. How long do these normally take to come from MS?

    Got a mate who's bought my old Pro so I need to get my data transferred and give him the HDD. Might ask if someone could pass one onto me if I don't get it soon.

    I got myself a new box through the Amazon Deal. Before I had a Premium with the 120gb add-on, and figured it's worth the renewed guarantee, lower power consumption and hopefully a bit less noise.

    Though I could just use my old 120 GB drive, but as the housing is made for a white box, I'd prefer to change to the new one.

    I'll need a transfer thingy as well, right? Is a transfer between same size drives even possible?
