I have been following this thread with interest and have been trying to be polite and respectful of differing opinions. But I can't take it anymore. Anybody that thinks that Lost Odyssey is better than Blue Dragon, is wrong.

Especially Psychotext. All the people in this thread that disagreed. The EG reviewer. As a matter of fact, the whole internet. Wrong.

Just the 'dreams' in LO were better than my whole play experience of BD.

Lost Odyssey I found to be more engaging from the offset. I have Blue Dragon but I can't be bothered with it.

If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

I have said all I can. Done all I can. If you don't want to see the truth, you're beyond help. 'Enjoy' LO.

Blue Dragon is awesome, it starts off a little bit childish but then has surprising depth, tons of secrets and unlockables and is generally all-round awesome. However, it gets marked down for having an achievement list designed by Nazi's. "Ze failed ze quick time eventz therefore ze vil suffer ze consequences!"

Lost Odyssey is a complete pile of wank, the characters look like they've been cross-bred with mules, and script is frustratingly stupid, I mean, come on - We ALL knew that guy was the baddie right from the start, yet we still have to do his missions and watch our retarded hero create the very problems he's going to have to spend the next 60 hours correcting. Frustrating.

Ive had blue dragon for months, never even put it in the machine, I was on disc two of lost odyssey, I like the dream stories etc but the random battle were far too frequent in the end so i ended up frisbeeing the bastard.

I got Blue Dragon since, well, when did I buy the 360?:) I did play Lost Dragon though, and thought it was ace. The Bruce Campbell character is genuinely funny at times (especially when giving him Elton John style glasses), and the dreams everyone referring to where indeed stunning.

Thanks to this thread I'll start Blue Dragon now. All the other games waiting in their shrink wrap will have to wait for a month or two. :)

My lasting impression of Blue Dragon is that it's a competent, polished, but thoroughly uninspired JRPG. Somehow I managed to play it through to the end despite not actually liking it all that much. Bonus point for roaming enemies.

Lost Odyssey I enjoyed more. I found the world and characters far more compelling, and the story was okay. Random encounters be damned.

Tales of Vesperia, however, gives them both a hiding.

It's one of the few games I wish I'd looked at the achievements for before playing the game.

Sweet. I'm no longer first on the list.

Actually, V.D. should be higher up the list than me because he doesn't love BD enough to 1000/1000 it. :D

I'm the first on many peoples list.

BD is still wank though, huge waste of time. Halo RPG would've have been more worth while!

    :p

I have the list right here in front of me and can confirm that Bobby Kotick is still easily first.

Blue Dragon is better than Lost Odyssey in terms of boringness.

    boabg, guys. boabg.

The girlfriend saw his name and she was horrified. And when she found out he was glaswegian, she forbade me from having any e-contact with him. She didn`t know his thoughts on BD, but she is still correct.

But seriously, what's 12 inches long and dangles in front of a ballbag?
