So the consensus seems that Lost Odyssey is the better game and Blue Dragon the prettier one? I don't fully agree, but I suppose that Ecosse should go with the majority. I preferred BD, hated Eternal Sonata, hated Lost Odyssey, like Enchanted Arms and those are the only JRPG's I have played this generation.

So, if Ecosse and I share the same taste from that collection, take my recommendation. Otherwise, go with *spit* Psychotexts recommendation *spit*.

I think the general consensus among the JRPGey forumites is that Tales of Vesperia is better than all of the other 360 JRPGs. Although having said that, I'm sure someone will be along in a minute to disagree. :-D

Ecosse is a Wii owner... he's always going to go for cutesy cameltoe over veiny boob.

Blue Dragon isn't bad. It's just not good either. It's the plain cheese sandwich of JRPGs. Not fancy cheese either. Possibly just some Cheese Strings cut up and put between two slices of not-so-fresh white bread. No butter either.

    And that's bad because....?

So you say. Lost Odyssey gave me a delhi-belly.

Isn't the girl in that game about 13? Maybe we should club together and send Roman Polanski a 360 and Blue Dragon whilst he is holed up in a swiss prison. He might also appreciate the aesthetics of this game.

Kluke may be 13, but Zola is over 20, I believe. If a cartoony character's age actually matters.

Her name was Zola which unfortunately puts you in mind of one of the ugliest footballers every to grace the field.

It must have been Zola, since Kluke wore a dress.

EDIT: Of course, Marumoru's species means that he too may have had some camel toe. It's possible.

I loved Lost Odyssey (except for the Temple of Fucking Enlightenment And Swearing), so if Blue Dragon is anywhere near as good, I'll be purchasing it!

A friend has also recommended ES, so that might be another one on the shopping list. I reckon pre-owned they'd be pretty cheap.

P.S. I'll never forget Ming's big veiny knockers. On 40" LCD they were mesmerising.

Of course, the real Blue Dragon lady action is in the anime with a new character called Bouquet, who has big boobs, constantly has to get naked, and is always getting groped by Marumoru.

It's always about you. When it's not about you, it's about cameltoe, and when it's not that, it's veiny breasts.

I always knew he was a sexual predator.

The main group have to capture him by setting a trap with Kluke's used panties as bait. Seriously.

I've just had a look at some Blue Dragon screenshots - it looks a bit shit to be honest... wtf is that yellow cat thing with a cooking pot on its head?

Lost Odyssey is clearly the best imo, way better story and more interesting characters than the cardboard cutouts in Blue Dragon. BD is not bad, but as mentioned before, neither it is great or even good. Lost Odyssey on the other hand, is one of my favourite JRPGs for the Xbox360. I'm not sold to Tales of Vesperia, judging from the demo, but perhaps I'll try it later when its on sale.

The whole thing is totally Dragon Ball. That said, I, as in myself, love it, but I reckon it's not a mainstream titles for the western tastes.
Lost Odyssey is much more "acessible", as it's not so ethnic.

It's not a joke, I'm afraid. I believe it's episode 4 that particular event occurs.
