    New noir-detective-comedy type thing from HBO starring Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis

    Anyone catch the pilot? It wasn't great but there's definitely some potential there. Had to look on metacritic there and it seems it gets better. So i'll definitely watch the next few episodes

    I couldn't bring myself to watch the pilot to the end. Let me know if it gets good and stays good, maybe I'll have another try.

    Already picked up for a second season.

    I´m enjoying the show so far but i feel they can do even better with such a great cast. Ted Danson is awesome.

    And this season is done...only 8 episodes...
    Every episode was good but the last 4 were awesome.

    I watched the first two last night. I like. A lot.

    I have an extra added nostlagia factor having just returned from NYC so we keep going "Oooh, he took the F train", plus we stayed in the same area of Brooklyn as where the protagonist lives (pushchair / "stroller" capital of the world, I kid you not).

    3rd and 4th episodes made me love his mate and his boss even more. That therapist was awesome. I'm trying really hard to space them out so I don't gorge all at once.

    I have no idea. I simply voice my tv wishes and they mysteriously appear on my laptop. I have no idea how it happens.

    So nobody cares about Bored To Death? First episode of this season was fucking awesome.

    I watched it on Monday but it didn't tickle me the way most of the 1st series did. I'll keep watching though, obviously.

    Thanks for the reminder LF! I absolutely adored the first series so I've been looking forward to this.

    This show deserves to be far more popular than it is, I wish TV networks like BBC and Channel 4 over here would pick it up and give it real support, it could be very very popular if advertised correctly.

    I liked the intro episode but it wasn't quite as wholly good as any from the last series. I wonder if that was just because they are just shifting the story basis around, and it will settle down into its stride in the next few episodes? Just didn't seem quite as well crafted. Still made me laugh though.

    I really like all the actors, I like noir stuff and I should love this but I just can't get into this.

    I really enjoyed the new episode, not as good the best episodes from series 1 but still a very good series opener.

    \o/ totally back on form, brilliant episode. Just wonderful.

    I was a bit worried there with the first two episodes not truly grabbing me but the third is just everything I love about this show in one massive (vaporiser) hit.

    Any news on this coming to UK? Saw a couple of trailers whilst in the US and it looked great
