I believe this will be on the store this week. Just played it in Liverpool's Space Invaders exhibition. A bit odd (and that's just the flying maggots)

Giant space-travelling maggots live under the ground, fully charged Sdompes can summon them up above the surface so the herd can jump on their backs or attach themselves on strings of mucus to escape to the next part of their journey

Heads Up! Excite Bike released today in EU. Had a quick go before work this morning. It got very good reviews, and it is looking like lots of fun, in an "arcady" sort of a way.

Been playing Excite Bike all afternoon - my hands are KILLING me. Fantastic game. Nothing to write home about graphically, and all the courses seem much of a muchness, with just different backgrounds. But for one-more-go-ness and value for money - I reckon this is a must-buy if you have a Wii and are a gamer who likes games "old-school" - simple to play but difficult to ace - I've been playing all afternoon, and haven't got one 'S' grade yet! (Maybe I'm just rubbish!)

Finally, excitebike! Downloaded it as well, good little game, gonna be tough trying to earn some S ranks, managed quite a few A's so far, which only seems to be 5-6 seconds less than the B rank required. Good little download!

Still no 'S' grades - gotten within 1/2 a second a couple of times. If I have one, tiny criticism, it is that luck plays a BIG role, because the 'S' grade requires a PERFECT race, which is so dependent upon how the other bikes play-out.

Has anyone had any luck getting s ranks on excite bikes platinum circuit, managed to s rank the first track, bloody tough!

You can monno over bikes if your in the same lane! Unfortunately i forget to do it far too often! But it works, oh and always boost and hit the boost reducing arrows!

Best I've got in Platinum is one 'A'. Starting to find the luck element a bit annoying now, to be honest - so much depends upon exactly where the other bikes are, especially when the track goes down to 2 lanes. Still playing, though, and getting a bit of on-line in, so still think it is 8/10.

I still haven't finished that. Level 3 (or is it four?) with all the skeletons and giant knives coming out of the walls is a real bear!

I was all set to get Castlevania Rebirth, until I read that there is no save feature in there whatsoever.

I understand the game wanting to stick rigidly to its old-school formula, but that one concession would have been nice. :/

Don't let that stop you from getting the game, it's good fun. You will have to replay the first levels a couple of times anyway due to difficulty. However, once you know everything and get through the levels quickly I wouldn't be surprised if you can't finish the game in under an hour.
