Registered 6 years agoSo just found my first diamonds surrounded by red stone and the dark blue one (forget the name) near a lava lake. Only after falling down a hole being chased by skeletons, running out of food and light and got killed trying to get back up.
Damn tense but great fun. -

I assumed it was that same issue from about a month ago where a Windows update messed up some network thingymabob I don't understand that broke it client side. I'll just be patient then. Kirby is the man! Even if he wasn't, he'd just ingest and become one.

I decided to restore @notch's old Golden Apple and give it an effect proper for its crafting costFYI: I added this as a new kind of golden apple, so there's no point hoarding nugget-based apples in 1.2.5. The nugget-based apple will remain (including the recipe) with its current stats.
The original recipe was one apple + 8 gold blocks (72 gold ingots), so I'm not sure I'll ever be making one of these.. -

Registered 2 years agoSo I upgraded from 360 to pc Minecraft,and on Acid Trip seed.It is like an episode of Lost in the jungle I started in.So much fun.I feel like a virgin who has found a way into a brothel.
I seem to have gone crazy with chickens. It has now turned into a two level chicken farm with stairs down to a lower level.Anyone have KFC's phone number? -

Registered 8 years agoThe new 'useful' block is the Ender Chest, and here it is, as suggested on Reddit 7 months ago. The actual recipe replaces wood with obsidian.
Emerald is the new currency ore - screenshot of it in the wild.. And it's supposed to be green.
Chainmail armour can be obtained legitimately now, through villagers.
Also added are dispensers that can dispense (and recollect) water and lava, and sandstone stairs, new desert structures, etc. This next build should be quite significant.

That enderchest will be handy for keeping the far flung corners of the EG server supplied. -

Not sure what to make of it. I've been playing the new snapshot, and it blends in really well, it looks a lot nicer for sure. At a glance, I find it hard to distinguish from smooth stone. -
