Registered 9 years agoOur 1.5 year old bitch is getting the snip thing today. Slightly worried about it although i know its a common thing to get done. The only good thing is i`m offshore so dont have to deal with the fallout from it. -

Registered 9 years agoHeh. ie. Miss Mek going nuts worrying that every little movement of the dog means that "SHE`S GONNA DIE!!!" or "SHE HATES ME NOW!" type thing.gif)
That kinda fallout. -

Girl doggies seem better at dealing with it, in my experience, even though it's a bigger op. The boys sat around feeling sorry for themselves, the girls just get on with it.
What will be annoying is the cone, it may bother her. I wouldn't leave it off just yet, she is likely to lick at it, but then the girls (in my experience) fuss over it less, so you can leave the cone off after a few days if she doesn't look at it. She'll be right as rain before you know it
Just no jumping up onto the couch and stuff like that
I'll dig out the pic I have somewhere, one of our boys was THE biggest moper afterwards, he's usually an overexcited really chirpy happy dog but he just looked so sad (it was a little funny, since he was just overreacting) -

Registered 6 years agoMy fiancees dog can be a cunt although she's not as bad as she used to be. My parents dog is lovely even if she is getting very old now.
I don't recommend letting a Jack Russell bite you. It hurtsThe world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

Registered 9 years agoHehe. Seems she doesnt like the collar. Maybe i should tell my girlfriend the dogs meant to wear it and not her?
@iok - should we ask how you found that out? -

Registered 11 years agoIt appears Norman has discovered that he can free the guinea pig from its upstairs play-area for better chasing and hence turd production. -

Registered 7 years agoI thought this thread needed a bump, but looks like Khan took care of that. Anyhow, I was uploading some pics and of course had some of the pooch, so thought I'd share.
Gnawin' on a bone with his "Buddy".
We had a giant tree fall through our back yard during Hurricane Irene. Jerry enjoyed exploring the mess. He ended up getting sap all over his fur.
And... the tree itself.
We rescued him 2 years ago and I can't imagine life without him! -

Registered 7 years agoI should add, this part of the country was deemed to be the "safest" in terms of natural disasters and the like. However, that was before this past year!
I forgot to add 2 more pics of the jacket Jerry got for Christmas! I know it's not right... don't blame me! He wears the sh*t out of it, though.

Shameless self promotion but I stopped the car to rescue a dog that was running in and out of traffic yesterday. It was super cute and rolled over in the middle of the road for me to pick it up. I think it was a king Charles Spaniel. Top Mutt.
