Hmm so the American version is getting trophies?

I wonder if they will patch it to our version too.

Trophies for an SRPG is a pretty retarded idea to start with, furthermore it means starting the game again if you are already playing the Euro version, not something you really want to do with a game that long. Besides Aksys are doing the work and probably want to retain it as a unique selling point for their variant version.

Aksys do seem pretty desperate to make the European version look shabby, on forums everywhere posters are coming out with outright bullshit, I wonder how many of those posters actually work for Aksys and want to stop people from importing the European version on disc.

Scratch it. As said a couple of posts up, it's not brilliant, but it's worth a go.

Caved in and ordered this. I blame Vandal Hearts being delayed on the EU PSN.

Well I guess they target the add campaign at a very specific audience :D

    Especially after that LE edition:

Prequel, Agarest Senki Zero confirmed for PS3 release in Europe, from Ghostlight! :D Aksys will be publishing in the US, and they will be working alongside one another to make sure wherever in the west that you are, you'll be able to enjoy the highest quality game. :) There Will Be Trophies :p this time.

I never expected the sequel to make it out over here.

I wonder if the US version will make it to retail on a disc, Yakuza 3 proved that SCEA can relent on their silly rules sometimes. 'Americans don't want 2D games' is probably dead and gone now but I'm not so sure about 'Americans don't want games in damned foreign languages'.

The only way you'll beat me is if you announce a game that is completely hidden in your offices and not known in the public domain (i.e. your blog) ;)

I wonder if the rest of Ghostlight would be willing to change their entire announcement strategy to allow me to beat someone on a forum. Worth a try I guess ;)

The results for the poll along with news of the artbook can be found here.

Not great news on the artbook unfortunately.

How about a poll to ditch the tacky faux 3D postcards in favour of an art book? :-D

I've certainly mentioned to a few people here that everyone seems quite keen on getting an artbook. I think they'l remember it next time we do a collector's edition.

We've now got a trailer and some screenshots you can view here

We're sending out the pre-orders of Agarest: Generations of War Zero now. It's been a bit of a nightmare but I'm glad it's finally sorted.
