Registered 1 year agoI’m looking forward to this, but.. I checked out some preview images in a paper magazine, and the alien type backdrops look CG. Unlike the original Alien, where they actually built the backdrops, as crazy as that sounds.

Registered 9 years agoI take it this has been filmed using 3D cameras? I saw the trailer in 3D before The Avengers and it looked okay.
IMAX is the only way to go on this. I can say that though as there's one in Manchester and it's actually showing it. -

Registered 4 years agoWell that was pretty bloody exciting. Very glad to know it's a June 1st release, means I should be able to go before I have to give up the cinema for a while.
It's not on C4+1 btw.

Registered 6 years agoI think that trailer indicates that we're at the point where anyone who wants a surprise should stop watching any more Prometheus stuff.

Registered 2 years agoSaw the trailer last night, am probably going to give this one a miss for sure. Nothing about it looks right (too much CG) and if the trailer's suggestion that it's nothing more than a retreading of ALIEN is right then I'm not willing to pay the £6 to see that story yet again -

Registered 2 years agoNo feature length film has been filmed entirely on IMAX. The most is around 20 minutes IIRC but it still looks great.After chasing sunsets one of life's simple joy is playing with the boys
