This game just gets better and better

Such a waste. :/

When the game gives me control, it's amazing.
When it takes it away i hate it.
The shooty bits are adequate.
The survival part and story are a joke and this is downright Lara in torture porn territory to find a new way to titillate 15 year olds.
I don't know whether to never play it again or force my way through the bullshit because when it's good, it's old school actual puzzling, platforming, tomb raiding good. But there's an awful lot of bullshit to wade through.
Fucking reboots.

Don't get me wrong there are faults. Like average combat, ninja sighted ai, generic enemies, lack of real tombs, one or two.silly.characters etc.

I'm sure game makers get a cut of controller sales, hence why more QTEs are in games just to break controllers.

Gambit1977 wrote:Where do you pull comments like this from? "defensive hype train"? Really? All I'm seeing is people posting how much they're enjoying the game. I don't think it needs defending. I don't really see people attacking it (well, except with inanities, frankly).
I do think the defensive hype train going on is a little much.

Maybe just let people enjoy the game without trying to explain they're wrong to do so?
what's this shit?
ronuds wrote:Is this some weird "Americans not speaking properly" thing like "I could care less"?
@kinky_mong So are you saying you can or cannot fathom them?

ronuds wrote:Ah right, no I was implying that I might not be seeing the constant removal of control to the extent some others have because I'd been playing a game closer to an interactive movie before.
@kinky_mong First you said you couldn't fathom the complaints, followed by "then again" which I took to mean you were having second thoughts.
Goodfella wrote:Yeah, I've seen it the twice I've booted up. Just thought it was meant to look a bit funky honestly, as it appeared in the same places and it hasn't occurred anywhere else in game, so far.
Got this on PS3, anyone else get the weird graphical glitching/artifacting on the boot up screens? I've seen it on the PC too but it was worse on my PS3 version?!
I expect that on a PC with a dodgy hardware/drivers or something but not on a console?
