Registered 8 years agoIf he'd scored his easy chances in the first leg you'd be through. He's going to be even more insufferable when he plays for Man City next season.

I find it's nice to enjoy things while they last rather than being bitter in advance.

Seriously though, do you rate your chances of actually keeping him? He could play for any side in the world at the moment, he'd be an upgrade on Alexis Sanchez for Barca.
And if you sell him this summer, do you think Liverpool can improve in the league next season? -

Registered 6 years agoHow do they decide which team play home/away first in the next round? I don't know if there's an advantage to either with away goals but just wondering for Spurs v Inter MilanFiat Lux

Registered 6 years ago@Dougs - but they've already done the draw in the Europa League for the previous round and then this current round so I'm confused.Fiat Lux

I think if Liverpool did sell Suarez, and got top dollar (as they could), then, with astute buys (LOL ASTUTE LIVERPOOL LOL) then perhaps.
But being bitter is so much fun!

Registered 3 years agoHappy with the result, some good performances too.
Not sure how its taken this long in the season for Krul to have his best game for us, glad he did though!, hopefully he'll kick on from here.
Back four were solid, Haidara looks like a prospect too. Anita was very good (would probably have him over Tiote for Soton) and Shola scored.
Pardew managed to rest some key players (Taylor, Debuchy, Santon) and we've got Ben Arfa back for the weekend - probably the most important game of our season."Look at banner Michael!"

I've got nothing to base this on, but I think we'll get one more season out of him before he really starts agitating for a move.

When he does go, it would definitely give us enough cash to improve the squad overall. Remains to be seen if the new scouting team/Rodgers could be trusted to spend it though. -

Registered 10 years agoNo. Not yet. On the fence about that. Trying to weigh up whether I can be arsed to go to the San Siro again, and also access how much I want to be killed by Nazis. -

Registered 3 years agoBig game tonight. Despite being hot and cold i think Cissé is going to be a big loss for tonight, mainly because it means Shola has to play.
However, Ben Arfa is back, although most likely off the bench, and i'm looking forward to seeing Adam Campbell too - word of mouth is that hes a massive prospect.
Hoping we can sneak a goal to take back to St. James's....i think ill go for 1-1."Look at banner Michael!"

Just looking up Zanetti's stats for the last few years, he's 39 now and he's only missed 10 league games since 06/07, must be one if the fittest men in football considering his position and that they're nearly all starts. Unbelievable professional. -
It has a real low key feel about it at the minute.
