No thread for the guy?! Anyone know what happened to the game(s) he was supposed to be making/producing?

A check of his imdb just says he's producing a film due out next year, which sounds pretty cool:

    War Eagles

Just prior to the start of WWII, a publicly humiliated Army Air Corps test pilot, court-martialed and discharged from the service for an unauthorized flight that ultimately endangered the life of President Roosevelt, takes the only job he can get - flying an experimental airplane around the world from pole to pole. When his plane is unexpectedly attacked and crashes on an uncharted island above the Arctic Circle, the pilot discovers a strange land inhabited by a lost tribe of Norsemen who ride giant eagles and, in a surprising turn of events, becomes America's only hope against a devastating sneak attack by the Nazis and their powerful new electromagnetic weapon.

    That sounds utterly fantastic.

I was lucky enough to meet the bloke once. He's just awesome.

He's a legend. I love the Sinbad movies and my girlfriend's step-dad managed to get me a load of his older flicks, like "Earth Vs The Flying Saucer."

And for the record, I'll just add that "Jack The Giant Killer" isn't one of his but it's ace, too.

I clicked on this thread with some dread thinking it was another obit thread, glad to see it isn't!

The film sounds absolutely bonkers, I have to see it.

    This space left intentionally blank.

He was doing a bit of a retrospective of his films / work down in Brisbane once and I just happened to be round the corner from where it was so I dropped in. Some of the models (a lot of which he still owns) are fantastic. The bloke must've had ADD or something for the amount of tiny detail on them.

If he is involved in games, I'd pay good money to see him work with Team Ico!

I know I didn't imagine this, Ellie even reported on it.

What's up with Ray?! Even the synopsis for War Eagles has been been removed. Hope he's ok.

He's still around thankfully. There's a new documentary on Ray and his career due out in a couple of days (in the US to start with), called 'Ray Harryhausen - Special Effects Titan'.

    News update about it
