Monsoon is the hardest enemy in the entire game.

But parry is light attack + TOWARD the enemy. You *have* to press a direction or it wont work.

As soon as you see a flash of red, you can do the block command. You will enter the block stance and block the attack. You have to time the block command to coincide with their incoming attack to parry.

Yellow attacks are unblockable, so if you see yellow, run.
This. Much better explained than mine version

Aiming to get the achievements to beat bosses on Hard without getting hit once. Already gone through Mistral, Sundowner and Sam. Feel like I could get Armstrong on a good day but Monsoon is nigh on impossible to me.

Is it a decent port then? I picked it up in the Steam sale. Still playing Assassins Creed so I probably won't play it until I'm done with that.

He's not that hard. You just have to be on point with your parries. After a while he starts spewing out health packs, which makes life easier.

Also, if you're struggling with the boulders he chucks at you, just ninja dash towards them. You'll pass directly under the boulders unscathed. They are a bit awkward to cut at times.

Yeah, just beat him. Was actually pretty simple once I worked out what was going on. Once I snagged the health packs it was plain sailing. Also managed to trigger a couple of those QTE bits where you punch him a billion times in the stomach.

I've been stuck on the last boss of Persona 4 Golden for a couple of days now. It's that really annoying thing where you've beaten the game and all the bosses - but what's that? You want the TRUE ending? And if you don't, then you can't REALLY say you've finished the game, because the ending you saw wasn't the TRUE ending? Well then, here's a new dungeon with a fucking insanely hard boss at the end! What's that? You've been playing for over 70 hours now and just want to finish it? TOUGH SHIT!!

It also has that annoying "beat two bosses back to back because he somehow changes form and becomes even stronger." WHY WASN'T HE JUST STRONG TO BEGIN WITH. Now I have to spend ten minutes beating the first form easily, just to be killed in a couple of turns by the second form. Then reload and try again. AAAARRGH.

    FUCK YOU END BOSSES

Metal Gear Cyborg Ninja: Soldier Sushi would have been a better title though.

This game is fantastic. I enjoyed every minute of it and found the frustrations fleeting, even with the dodgy camera, which to be honest, I think people exaggerate how bad it is.

I still can't get over the fact that Raiden chops a kid in half though and then he's happy as Larry later on. You spend the majority of the game slowing down time to cut 1 mm slices of armour off and yet he had to cut through the professor and the kid? It's hilarious.

So I was watching the trailers it looks like some ninja gaiden type thing, are there any sneaking missions in this or anything of comfort for people who would want a metal gear game?

It's a platinum game with no metal gear tropes other than a ridiculous story.

There are a few missions where control says 'we suggest you use stealth' upon which you completely ignore them and lynch the nearest available mook.

In this game, non stealth is using flashy moves to beat up multiple enemies at once, then slice them in half before ripping out their spine.

Stealth in this game is running individual enemies through with your sword before slicing them in half and ripping out their spine.

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

What's wrong with the Jetstream Sam fight? I beat him first time. As long as you can block his attacks, you're fine.
