Joanna Lumley. She's got a plastic arsehole and the support of the Ghurkas.

Registered 6 years agoJolie was perfect as Lara. I don't see why they feel the need to replace her. She was also originally contracted to do 3 movies. She's not exactly past it either. Maybe a touch on the skinny side at the minute though. She's beefed up nicely for the first 2 Tomb Raider movies. -

Registered 11 years agoI think they're basically hedging their bets that if they take Jolie out, the next movie will automatically be well received because it'll be slightly removed from the taint the first two movies had (oddly, I find myself watching 'em both if they're ever on telly. They're great no-brain popcorn fodder and Jolie is nice and easy on the eye in 'em, plus the soundtrack in the first film rocks).
Don't see why she couldn't do another film though, if they can stop the silly bitch slicing herself up with commando knives or adopting eskimo kids for more than 5 seconds at a time -

Registered 6 years agoAgreed, its not as if they will ever be able to make a smart Tomb Raider movie. I enjoyed the first 2 Tomb Raiders, they are about as clever as any other movie in that genre, i.e. not very. -

Registered 11 years agoUgh, if the tat's real she's off the list. Though I spose they could cover it up like they had to with Angelina's.

I'll tick that box. -
Oooh, they're gonna be saggy in no time. Poor lass. What did her proud as a teenager will literally be a weight around her neck in a few years.

Looks a bit too old though. A few years ago, Rachel Weisz or Kate Beckinsale would have been a good call but there not right for it. Michelle Ryan's about the right age but she's a diabolical actress. Could go with a brunette Alyson Hannigan.

Registered 11 years agoShe looks like a rabbit. Not suitable for Lara.
I note with interest that no one's approached Kiera Knightly to play the part. Probably a bit too famous to do something as trashy as this, though she doesn't mind accepting Eidos' filthy coin for doing the voiceover work for the games.
B'sides, she looks like a xylophone with two fried eggs stapled to it, so she doesn't quite fit the (physical) bill. -

Registered 11 years agoIs she the female lead in the Victoria film? If so, she's got the lot. Star quality, an absolutely perfect rack, plummy accent, tight little buns.
Yeah, I think you just won the thread Goban -

Registered 7 years agoKeeley Hawes! It's never going to happen but I'd be very happy if it did. She's got such a sexy voice, love her VO in the games.
Or...Zooey Dashanel? She could pull it off. Anytime.
Just please God not Michelle Ryan, she'd be terrible. Her faux Lara in Doctor Who was absolutely rubbish. -

I met Emily Blunt, as I keep telling people whenever she comes up. She's stupidly beautiful in person and seems to have a good sense of humour.
Sideboob. -
