Hahaha. Did they not just think to maybe poke it with a stick to dislodge it then bag it up and dispose of it? Typical 'I could do something about it myself but instead I'll just complain about it' kind of attitude.

An immigrant put it there. Hard to say the swan didn't have it coming though, it was fiddling his benefits.

Obviously immigrants are to blame. Or gay marriage, probably both, part of some sort of foreign gay wedding party ritual.

    1) talk to the council about it.
1a) talk to the District council when the local one passes the buck.

    2) get a stick, knock the swan down (preferably before it's been up there for 2 months) then bag it and take it down the tip, or bury it in a hole.

    3) look at it, tut, wait for someone else to be bothered, repeat weekly.

Look at that, everyone's gone for option 3.

Indeed, I'm also pretty sure that touching dead swans can give you cancer.

The independent councillor Charles Cottrell-Dormer confirmed that West Oxfordshire District Council would be sending someone down to take a look.

But added: "What a fuss about nothing, it is dead so not suffering."

    Offensive farting dentist loses job.

Looking at his rap sheet I think he's the dentist equivalent of Charlie Sheen.

Making derogatory comments about unemployed patients

Mr Walton, who has not worked as a dentist since December 2007 except for one day, has not commented on the case.

    I laughed.

"Breaking wind" is highest on his list of charges, while "Exposing a nurse to X-ray radiation" is only third, below "Telling a patient he has bad breath" (surely his job?).

I guess inflicting cancer upon your colleagues doesn't make a funny enough story these days.

Northwestern University sex toy show 'disturbing'

A US university president has said he is "disturbed" that a psychology professor allowed a demonstration of a motorised sex toy in a lecture hall.

Morton Schapiro of Northwestern University called the decision to allow a naked woman to demonstrate use of the device last month "poor judgement".

    ...

"Student feedback for this event was uniformly positive," Prof Bailey said.

And back up again. Was hilarious reading all the latest tweets where everyone pretended to know what took the website offline.
