I never noticed it when I watched the episode. I was not aware that actress had died though so was not looking for anything.

It's not that bad. Maybe I don't have such a keen eye, but (at least in that Youtube quality) I could have watched it and possibly not clock on to it being fake.
It was more a keen ear with me. The stock phrases that she uses to reply to Tony rather than interacting with him properly is what stood out when I saw it.

The part at 1:49-1:51 looks really bad.

I didn't realise when I first saw it, her stock responses seemed to just be because she was really unhinged at that point.

Looking at it now though it's pretty awful, really obvious CGI and the stuff she says seems really out of place.

I'll be honest and say that she was one of the characters I never really enjoyed in The Sopranos. Her acting was of good quality and the plot lines were pretty good, but I just got annoyed by her character a little too much for it stay behind the annoyed-yet-interesting/just-annoyed line.

That scene was poorly done, which was a surprise. Most everything about Sopranos was top notch.

I've concluded that T's killer is from Phil's crew. A lot of them wear the same jackets that the guy in the diner wore!

They keep replaying it from start to finish on HBO so I'm delving further and further into hidden potential clues. It probably means nothing, though.

And that is it. All six seasons done in around a month or so of watching 3 episodes a night.
Stunning from the very opening/theme tune to the very last fade.
Genuinely upset it is finished, even more so with JG passing.

Brilliant tv, brilliant story, brilliant performances. Loved Tony of course, loved Paulie, Silvio, Bobby, Ad...

Some excellent comedy as well as drama. As perfect as and TV/Film can be.

I remember when it finished I had no idea how to spend my idle time, a massive gap was left.

Part of me wishes they'd clear up the ending. I'm happy with the idea of it being a bit open but perhaps it'd be interesting to know if something like the jackets are a coincidence or a possible clue.

It's HBO, so will be region free anyway. Great news!

Bizarrely the UK BD set is much cheaper and much sooner - 8th September and £93.50 on Amazon. Might warrant a rewatch...

Pretty good price that. Bit soon for a rewatch for me, watched the whole thing through again about 18 months ago. Interested in the commentaries though, I've discovered I really like directors commentaries on a second screen while I play games like Diablo etc.

All 6 seasons are currently available on NowTV. There's been a few NowTV deals knocking around recently. I picked up 6 months with a box from Argos for £20 a few weeks ago, if you can find stock the 4 month pass with box is listed at £12.50. Tesco has also been offering similar deals.

Did Tony die at the end of The Sopranos?
David Chase finally answers the question he wants fans to stop asking

“‘He shook his head ‘no.’ And he said simply, ‘No he isn’t.'”

I'm surprised they've never talked about a pre-quel. I'd totally watch Tony's rise to power and Junior being the ruthless motherfucker he always appeared to be

    Like.

You'd think it's inevitable. Probably with Joseph fucking Gordon-Levitt as Tony.

The quote was taken out of context. It was put to him that Tony was dead, which he refuted, alluding that it's open to interpretation, which was the whole point of the ending as I read it, yet everyone seems to take one side or another as a definitive.

He's not dead, or alive, he's like the Schrodingers Cat of television endings.

I find it funny that after all this time people still don't get it.

Yeah I would happily watch that. Junior is a great character and a massive bastard, it would be great to see their how their uncomfortable relationship grew. Would be great to see Tony's father in action too.

It'd be interesting comparing his rise to the path of Christopher. You get the impression that Tony and Silvio had stabilized things a lot since they were in charge.
