    Good call, LB!

Ok, the remaining two, therefore, are:

Is paint reused by an artist? (7)

    _ _ A _ _ _ _

In short, she can draw (5)

    _ R _ _ _

    Incoming!

(Take the letters I've supplied with a tiny pinch of salt. I'm pretty sure they're correct, but I could be wrong.)

Move furtively in front - lingerers left behind (5)

    _ R _ _ _

Vehicle - bit different in Wales! (7)

    _ _ _ D _ _ _

The vehicle one is probably an anagram of WALES plus the letter D, plus one extra letter.

Although I can't think of a vehicle to fit those letters.

Oh, ok. I'm assuming it's an anagram of VEHICLE, that means something Welsh related.

And the other one is annoying me now, it isn't CREEP or CRAWL I don't think, what clue produces the R?

    Ah! CAR DIFF(erent).

    Excellent work, 4gate.

Creep or Crawl is all I've been able to come up with.

    The clue running down is...

    C _ O C O D I L E S

    So I think it's a fairly safe bet that it's an R.

Any other clues that would give another letter?

It isn't PRIVY or TREAD either.

It's an acrostic, so Crocodile (if indeed that is the word) is the answer you have to find by completing all the other clues.

CRAWL is as close as I can get, which would make some sort of sense if the word 'lingerers' wasn't in the clue, ie CRAW from 'front' and L behind. Bit of a stretch though.

Going by that logic, how's about Prowl?

Excellent, and infact assuming 'lingerers left' means the left letter of lingerers, is the answer. Nice one :)
