    Not read from the right is 'Ton'.

    So is 'away', 'a weigh'.

    No idea. I know the O and the T are definitely correct, and it's one of these 'Straight and cryptic' clue things. The straight clue is 'unfashionable' which fits with OUT, but the cryptic I just cannot explain.

    Right, thanks to the power of the mighty Google, and to crosswords being syndicated everywhere.

    I found boo's crossword in an Arab Emirates Newspaper/Magazine from 2009.
    Jumped forward a day to check the answers; and Out is correct.
