    Started the new thread for dedicated Resident Evil 5 Versus mode.

    Your thoughts, suggestions, agnst or challenging players can be shared with the other likeminded fans!

    My first impression is that its damned fun, lobby could be a bit better as every time game finish or host terminating game session you get thrown back to the start!

    However the real meat of the game, giving us great variety of characters, maps and modes to play. Team Slayers, Survivors and so on. Challenging to locate and terminate players while you still got the darned infected swarming around you including the mini bosses!

    For 400 mp on XBL its damn good value of money in my book and adding a lot to the main game.

    NB: The point system in leaderboard, is that if you win the match and get a score of 2500 which will give you 25 pts for the leaderboard, 1000 equal 10 pt and so on.

    Are there new characters? Or is it just the characters you can unlock in Mercs.

    My thoughts: this thread is a duplicate.

    My other thoughts: Capcom are ripoff merchants. 400 points for something that's already there? Pish.

    This thread is intended to focus only on the versus element and nothing to do with the main game, mercenary, story plots, spoilers or such.

    But they all came on the same disc, so why discriminate? Are you being racialist?

    There is an uproar certainly on the DLC being just to unlock the already on disk content, however the practice is quite common with lots of publishers on the act.

    Capcom is releasing multiplayer for RE for first time ever and at 400 msp is pretty reasonable, if at 800 msp then certainly there would be a bigger fuss!

    My understanding is that characters are just the same as in Mercs. Though as DLC just out we may need to check this out.

    Played last night, works better than expected (spoke about it in other resi thread). Enough to keep me going until Outrun comes out, so not bad for a few quid.

    All the unlockable characters and maps are the same as Mercs.

    Yep paid for it, played it, and glad I did, for a few quid it's worth it, even if it should have been included, doesn't bother me.

    I didn't pay for the costumes in SFIV as that was crazy, but this opens up a new mode. Getting bored of all the people bitching about paying for this content, STFU already.....

    TBF, it's quite possible it's so small as it just modifies the Mercenaries code.

    Still I thought it was fun enough, sure quite similar to mercs but the differences are there. I m not going to argue people should get it, but those who do I would believe if they spent some time with it, will get quality entertainment! For measly £4 quids which give us far more hours of fun compared to a rental movie or two pints!

    /Expecting some who ll say they prefer the 2 pints!
