Watching some old Screenwipe eps, saw the bit where he shows Hug apologising for the Blue Peter phone vote thing, and he's going on about it being the sexiest apology ever. "Phwoaaar go on Konnie, apologise again".

It's an unusual chat up line, but seems to have worked.

The end of Screenburn in upon us.

Always thought that nailing Huq would do the man no good.

Thanks to happening to see him shamelessly tweet about it being reissued, I now have a pristine copy of TV Go Home sat next to me on my desk.

Thought some of you might appreciate knowing that it's available :-)

    Nice.

He seems to hardly ever use twitter anymore.

So did everyone forget about this, then?

Was pretty good, he needs to get back to making more of 'em.

I watched it earlier on iPlayer. It was pretty good. I liked the mix of Screenwipe, Newswipe, and Gameswipe it had going on. He needs to do more Newswipe though, he's excellent at that.

I was pleased at Tim Key's absence, but I'm still not a fan of the Barry Shitpeas character.

I posted about it in the screenwipe thread to remind people it was on.

I thought Barry Shitpeas was better this time, the bit about Downton Abbey having "at least two cameras" made me laugh.

I don't know why but some things felt like I'd heard the rant before.

That's because the first half of the show was almost entirely just re-using scripts from Newswipe earlier in the year.

It was still a good show but a bit annoying just listening to the same pieces I'd already heard about snow and Haiti only slightly reworded.

Doug Stanhope who appears on this show is doing a few stand up gigs in London over the next few days.

Have I missed it or has Charlie not done any Newswipe or Screenwipe this year?

I don't think he has - only the 10 o'clock show but that ended quite a few months ago.

Sky doing its usual shit of nabbing anything remotely popular and sticking it behind a paywall.

Shame, Brooker seems to get worse the further away he moves from the 'wipe' format.

    Trailer for 2011 Wipe.

Would love another series of Screenwipe, but it seems like that's long gone now.

Brooker is looking awfully trendy now.

I'm finding his hair quite distracting and his 'flat' is looking suspiciously nicely decorated.

Guess that's marriage to the Huq for you.

I think he has moved into hers. No man would by that sofa or lamp.

That was great. Wish he'd do another proper Wipe series.

    It's a bit of a shame that it's stuck on BBC4.
