Obviously, there's the cash. But with that said many of these artists aren't exactly poor, and most of them had their own successful bands going anyway.|
I guess it is just a bit representative of a lack of originality in the music scene at the moment.
In recent times, and just a few off the top of my head... Blur, Rage Against the Machine, Faith No More, Vision of Disorder, Alice in Chains, Skin, Snot, The Pharcyde (albeit temporarily), Bone Thugs (all 5), Limp Bizkit (sigh) and now Stone Roses, Sunny Day Real Estate and (most disturbingly of all), Sublime are all looking very likely to reunite (or in Sublime's case, utilise a new singer, something I am totally against).
Who is next? Kyuss? Refused?
