Registered 2 years agoBumping old game thread but I had to add my love for this game (and there don't appear to be threads for the more recent two?).
I've only recently started it but am finding it terribly addictive. I haven't played an Atelier game since Atelier Iris 2 on the PS2 and while the gameplay and focus are considerably different (fewer evil blokes called Chaos wanting to screw up the world for starters) I'm still finding it rather charming and fun. There's a real sense of satisfaction that comes from creating a great quality item or getting a job done on time.
I'm delighted that I've got two more to play after this.

Registered 5 years agoYea is a great game. I reached the penultimate chapter and realized because of the way I had been playing, I had no chance of finishing it. Apart from that though I had a lot of fun. -

Registered 2 years agoOh, really? Is it easily done? I'm a few months or so into the second year at the moment and I'd be a little sad if I couldn't get to the end.PSN ID: finn1

Registered 5 years agowell, without wanting to ruin anything you might want to make sure u do a bit of combat leveling if u get the time.
Might just have been me though, I was considering starting again but I had a huge clear out of things on ebay to buy my Pc and that was among the things I sold. -

Registered 2 years agoThanks! I'll make sure to keep my levels up. It's pretty easy to let something slip while running round like a loon trying to please everyone.
And that's a shame! Did you manage to try the sequels at all?PSN ID: finn1

Registered 5 years agoI really enjoyed AI1 Eternal Mana, the two sequels were sequentially worse but still good fun. I'm playing through Mana Khemia on PSP/Vita atm and really enjoying it - but I kind of lost enthusiasm for them as none have lived up to the greatness of Eternal Mana and the PS3 Rorona series seems to be more of the stuff that i didn't like in the other sequels.PSN/NNID: chrisno21

Registered 5 years agoI didn't no. I should buy them before they become stupidly expensive. -
Namco Bandai have confirmed the release date for Atelier Ayesha: 8th March. Dual audio, too.
